I thought I might get sensitive and take a turn towards a bad trip while watching this show on shrooms just cause of parts like that. But there's something about facing these concepts like death, resentment, guilt, forgiveness, etc. and facing them so head-on that is really comforting and healing. The last episode already had me bawling my eyes out in my regular state of mind, but when I was tripping? It was so much more profound, and I truly feel now like I have accepted a few deaths that kept me up at night, and also the fact that I will die one day too. Watching it on shrooms you're like "they have to have known. They have to have meant for us to watch this in this state of being". I feel as though I really had the full experience once I watched it on shrooms. That feeling when you're sober and watching it and you're thinking "I cant really focus on both the audio and the video" yeah that feeling for me pretty much went away, I understood it on a whole new level. I would definitely recommend watching this while tripping ❤ be safe, and I would definitely recommend a friend or two, anyone you can be vulnerable with

I thought it was funny because when I was tripping I was like “I see what’s happening!” really is healing, I’ll be honest I’ve never had a learning type of trip I’ve always heard people say they learned something out of their trip but I never, when I was 18 me and my GF would go on Acid binges for a good couple months, I’m 23 now and I just expected another trippy trip especially with this show, I was so into it, the last episode, man that hit me like a speeding train into my soul, I was crying the only thing that popped in my mind were my parents, just the other day I noticed my dad getting a wrinkle, not thinking much of it I was damn old man haha as a joke but tripping I kept thinking about their age and all the times we had together and seeing how he grows up next to his mom man and the beautiful cycle of life. It is very comforting and I think I needed that. Life is so precious the time we have here is a gift. Gotta enjoy every minute of it with the people we love. One day we will all die but that’s ok because we will plant the seed, whether it’s our biological kids or just passing down bits of us and memories to others. Adventure time is plot based and this is more dialogue based. Also adventure times characters get more development than "I ate your boyfriend with my ass and now we're enemies" ya feel?

Highly recommend watching this show on LSD or mushrooms... I dismissed it completely at first, even being a massive fan of Pendleton Ward, I still found it confusing and disorientating. But tripping it all makes sense and comes together so perfectly and profoundly. If Midnight Gospel seems messy and hard to follow to you, trust me, there are so many layers to this show and it is SO well thought out, it just isn't immediately apparent. It's literally a work of art.
