Really cool find. I've had so many of these that I can count all of them. I have a 89 shelby now and it's super nice. I love these cars. Thanks for saving it.
Sadly, this one isn't getting saved. Seems no one wants a 95% rust free project car. So, it is in the middle of being parted and listed in our eBay store.
Park in a garage. Mold covers the dash and steering wheel. Park outside. The north side grows moss or lichens. The roof peels and seats fade. Also the dash cracks. The windshield had a blue shade tint at the top. That turned brownish yellow. 😂. But at least the collapsed brake hose is gone. Now to fix a chattering distributor bushing and flaky alternator. Timing belt looked ok when parked 7 years ago.
It's your fuel pump, the computer won't spark it unless the fuel is operational. I had a LeBaron with the same problem and was gone before I could fix it..
Keep us posted on how you replace your windshield. I found that the hardest part to find, for my '90, was the windshield. Fortunately, I found a good used one, 3 hours away. I think the '84 to '89 windshields are the same, but '90 to '93 are different.
I have two friends that do them so I'd just pay them. Luckily for me, I was able to hoard probably 25-30 new windshields for these cars. Daytona, Lebaron, Omni, rampage etc etc.
My first "project" was an '86 Shelby Charger. I am so in love with the 2.2 it's not even funny. I did the super 60 mods and got 400hp out of that little beast. I won SO MUCH MONEY!!!! Dang I miss that car.

I don't think there are any places that are safe for long term storage sadly.
Daaaaammmmm.... that's a nice car for its day.... if it was red, it would be on 80s Hunter.
The 84 we had awhile back was DeeDees colored
2002? That's not bad.. I'm waking up one of mine that's been off the road since I believe 1997.
No but it wasn't in the best storage location. Sadly I couldn't find a buyer for it whole.
Looks like you have another gem! Just need to keep telling myself I don't need another car.
I'm hoping someone comes and buys it whole so I don't have to part it.

The wiring was butchered up under the hood. These cars will crank/run with a bad pump. Pressure isn't required to create spark.

@@forgottendailiesllc You might become the best source for our windshields, if you ever want to part with them.
@@laserdad we plan on listing them in our eBay store soon. We have just been overwhelmed with other things happening.
Hey if you sell the muffler and tailpipe will it be on eBay

My first car was an 87 Shelby Charger. Loved that car
I would not give 40 bucks for that piece of Chrysler!😅
Its sad that you can never understand!!!
Awww someone doesn't like these cars.
Do u still have this car
Sadly no. It has been long gone.
Its a 2.2 liter dodge, she will start ❤
Sadly it wasn't getting any spark. Someone had butchered the wiring.
