    Honey, if the girl said yes when you asked her out, she already knows what you look like! You seem like such a sweetheart, and so many great girls are out there, who also struggle with the fact that they're not perfect 10's. Honestly, not many people are looking at you the way you think. Most people are much more involved in their own life and thoughts, and they may glance at you, but they're usually not thinking about YOU. Don't be so hard on yourself. I can't wait to get thru the rest of your story!!

    You're a 100% correct about the reason for being here. We are seeking advice and reassurance about the process. Some people watch UA-cam for entertainment purposes. Not me. I watch for guidance and assistance period. Denture videos and maintaining my pool videos. Most of the denture videos are several to many years old, and they've been very helpful. But, it's great to be able to watch some current videos, where I can feel like I'm not an outsider looking in, but have someone that's currently living it like myself. Can't wait to see you go through this and build up my confidence while learning from you. Thank you for taking your valuable time to document this. You're gonna help so many people. Scared people, like myself.

    I won't judge you at all as I'm going thru the same thing 😒 I'm in the UK and our NHS dentists have been awful for me ! I'd like IV sedation which I've had before when I went private , but they dont do it on NHS so I have to have local anaesthetic in gums which I'm dreading 😢 I've decided to have dentures cos my teeth are awful , loose and painful and also I have gum disease ! Difference is I'm 62 yrs old and I don't think I'll be as brave as you have been lol . Thankyou for these videos , I'm only on video 2 and I know its been over a Yr now for you so I hope you've got on OK with yours ! Take care 🙂

    My front teeth started like your before they started crumbing. And I’m getting tired of not smiling and covering my mouth. Time to make a change.

    Hi I’m in the support group you on FB, I’m so excited for you!! I had 28 extractions that included 4 wisdoms!! I also had alveoloplasty and 4 implants. I had Halcion the night before and the morning of, and another one in the office because my blood pressure was a bit high and they were hoping the Halcion would help me calm down. I also got conscious IV sedation and the gave me some blood pressure meds in my IV. I too took headphones and had some music playing. I only remember my headphones falling out (I was wearing beats earbuds, the Bluetooth ones you can wear around yours neck, if your taking the ones you show in the video you may want to tape them with medical tape because they will likely fall out depending on how forceful they need to be for tour extractions!!) the tech/nurse put them back in for me. I remember her telling me the tops were done, then I remember them asking me if I could walk. Next I remember getting out to my sister in laws car but not getting in. I do not remember the drive home, I vaguely remember getting in my house. Next thing I knew my husband was there-sister in law called him. I apparently was very angry and crying and mean.

    I’m having the same procedure on Monday I’m having the bone implants done because I’ll have implants after 4 to 6 months after my gums heal. So I’m only going to have dentures for a short time. I’m super nervous 😬 but I know I. Going to have a beautiful smile when I wake up.

      It's not "nothing" if you've got huge anxiety about it. Don't be so sure that YOUR experience should apply to everyone.

    How long did it take you to heal?

    • @Rusticshot84
      @Rusticshot84  2 роки тому +1

      Healing times vary from person to person. My personal time from Eday till I had the stitches fall all the way out was around 3 months total. Then I started using adhesive, very sparingly as not to irritate the sockets from the extractions

    • @TheVeek192
      @TheVeek192 2 роки тому

      @@DalNimJung I had my top teeth extracted five years ago. The healing was very gradual, but it was constant. Just follow the instructions from the dentist! Always take the denture out for sleeping at night so that your gum has time to breathe. All the best.
