@@HavingCoffieWithMrSatan At least he has hair.
I followed you on Twitter. When I attempted to DM you I get a message saying "IanCorzine can't be messaged"
It would appear that you have DMs turned off.
Are you still doing the minting agreement ?
Or did you change your Twitter handle?
Indemnification for loss of use due to after market resale
Ian, every music NFT platform should have this video embedded and watched before folks can mint anything. So good, thanks for a very clear breakdown! 🔥
You always offer great legal advice, Ian. Similarly, you can also DIY search for patents.
Absolutely
@@iancorzine You would be my favorite lawyer, and friend, if you lived in Detroit. But I’m sort of beyond IP creations, though I do have a sci fi book on Amazon that can’t find a publisher. The real challenge here is driving in the snow and ice.
You are a really great person for providing the terms and conditions to protect independent artists! So much appreciation and respect to you!!
Great Video, very informative, thanks Ian!
Thanks for watching!
Am a Zambian UA-camr and Musician and i must say this is very extremely helpful information! Thank You! so much!

Wow, thanks so much for this needed information. A lot people creating "how to make music NFT's" videos, but don't even touch on these legal topics. I mean, they probably don't even know themselves. You got yourself a sub 👍
Thanks DJ. Keep me up to date on your future music mints.
I LOVE U! MY UA-cam LAWYER♥️💪🏽
Ian this was SUPER fantastic information! Thank you - I'm the guy that remixed the biggest Dance Remixes for Britney Spears (Look it up!). See where i'm going with this!?? I'll leave it there. Doing my research on NFT's before I make any moves. Adding it here so it's public as well just in case down the line as you mention. :-) See you in the Metaverse!
Great job, Davidson! And if you have questions along the way, I’m here.
This is good information. Now to make phoenix coin XD
Solid video thank you so much. The link to the FREE legal terms & conditions for your NFT sales does not work for me. It gives me the nice little 404 error.
Whoops! I will fix.

Thanks for the NFT terms and conditions Ian. Very helpful 👍
Just @ me on Twitter
This is the exact opposite of what I've heard before. How can a title of a song be a trademark infringement ? I've always heard that titles were not copyrightable . Are you sure this is an issue.
*Somebody: makes music nft*
*Every audio/video recording software: Hippity, Hoppity, your music is now my property.*
_:troll face:_
How is that different from now? You can upload copyright music from BitTorrent, UA-cam, etc?
@@iancorzine you don't pay thousands of dollars for normal music. ;)
@@_GhostMiner That’s definitely true.
Is there a similar document for releasing nft beats for commercial use?
Yes, follow and tag me on Twitter
Added ya on twitter but can't DM ya. Is the minting agreement free?
Yes. Please mention me in a Tweet and I’ll follow you.
would it be a legal issue if my music has samples in it? (sample meaning i use a certain part of a song and i make a beat over it)
Yes, it would. Have to get permission or risk problem.
Todd Rundgren had TR-i back in the late 80's. Pretty sure it ran on a Sony machine. Interactive CDs. You could remix the tracks and more. I'd say he was years ahead of his time. I hope he decides to try this again with NFTs.
Can you do one for video and photography?
Yes!!!
What's to stop someone from making their own nft of their cover?
Copyright law -- you can't steal someone's music and claim it to be your own.
👍🏾
Hi Ian. I'm a music producer. I make my own music and write my own songs. I'm interested in make nft's out of my songs but I don't have enough knowledge about the process nor how to start it. Could you recommend a video, blog o website where I can learn how to do it the proper way?
Thank you so much for your work and your content. It's really useful!
How does a song become non-fungable? I thought this meant that there is only one unique piece of art. Or, image. Or, in this case, a song.
Imagine asking 117,000 people to DM you yet having DMs blocked.

Mr satan REEEEE
NFT? 😂
Imagine taking that shlt seriously. 😅
Haha! GhostMiner -- it's the future!
@@iancorzine Nah, i don't have to wait 10 years to start throwing my money in a fire. 🤓
all of that is pretty much common knowledge if you know the music business....if you dont know the music business dont even record a damn song until u do.
I thought NFTs were a new thing.
Have these music NFTs been around for some time or are they new (too)?
Is there any difference between doing music covers and/or music reactions and music NFTs?
- Hey Ian! Have you checked my message I sent you on Instagram, yet?
You'd asked me to message you on Twitter, which I wasn't able to do, regarding fan accounts on social networks and how it's not only best to avoid them but to avoid setting them up and running them. My initial mention of this to you was about a month ago.
NFTs have been around for awhile. Just recent Crypto Kitties, Beeple, and free money throughout world brought them to news headlines.
How long is a while? I've only started hearing of them in the past year or maybe a little more but not more then two years.
I've never heard of music NFTs until this video. However, I've been watching music covers and reactions for at least a couple years.
