- In this video I give a full in depth tour of 3 different vehicles as part 4 of 4 of my new video series of back lot dealership start ups: a cadillac sts, volvo v70, and toyota avalon. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of these cars while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicles themselves. I also show the engines and the details of them, start them up and see how they sound under acceleration. Visit Monroe Motor Company's Website if you want to inquire about purchase prices of these vehicles
That Avalon is all I could ask for in a car. Lots of room, reliability, smooth V6 and power everything.
Clean as can be
My friend and my sister had a couple older avalons, those seats are insanely comfy in those things
That STS is a beautiful vehicle! Great video as always!
That Avalon is a beautiful car. The previous generation of Avalons such as these are my fav.
Same here too
4:15 That’s one clean Avalon
We used to have a sts just like that, fast as hell
I love the sts Seville! Beautiful cars
I love the "ding" in the STS
Matthew's Car Corner chime*
I hate it
its more like a bong
It’s mad loud in that car
@@BigPuffyNipplesyou have a funny screen name.
BTW Kyle, you only need to press the clutch when starting manuals, you don't need to bother with the brake.
i love that avalon, toyota is my favorite!
Love these back lot startups. Davidsfarm style yeah!
That Cadillac STS is one nices looking car and I love the color.
WOW! The '05 Avalon is a MAJOR improvement in styling over the '04.
My dad had a 1999 sts, loved that car sooo quick, rare with right hand drive but dealer support soon died out in the UK so they are so cheap now if you can find one.....
Look closely at the engine shot on the Avalon. Notice how the intake tube splits into just before the throttle bodies? There are two throttle plates in two separate housings.
Ayyy my dad has the same Volvo! Still going strong!
Whoa, whoa, whoa... did I see dual throttle bodies on the 1mz-fe in the Avalon? did not know they came that way.
I love ur older videos man i enjoy watching them :)
That bose system in the caddi is great. Shouldve tried that out too.
Is it me or are the 300hp Northstars a little quieter than the regular 275hp ones, I've noticed this in the other STS videos, but for the SLS and various Deville videos they sound louder.
@TJC450 Plenty of those around. VW's 2.5 5cil TDI, The 2.0 and 2.3 Audi petrol 5 cilinders. Then there's the BMW Z3's 2.8 petrol 5 cilinder and prolly many more.
How is the Avalon and the Volvo in the back though because they are perfect for sale
The Volvo is low on coolant and the Avalon has a messed up tachometer.
The thing I like about the older avalons is that their engines put out a lot of sound and sound larger than they are.
i love your channel Greetings from CROATIA
The Volvo V70 XC 2001 and 2002 had a 2.4L I5 low presure turbo with 190 HP, and in 2003 (they changed the name for XC70) they changed the motor for a slitly more powerfull 2.5L I5 Low presure turbo with 208 Hp
I think it's a 2.4 liter inline 5 cylinder
couldnt you get an 2nd hand battery that has been used but still good to put in the cars then after you done move the battery to the next car and see if that one starts and then the next one after that
0:40
You read the 5 backwards.
0:40
Who cares he sat in these cars for 7 minutes
What on earth! I've never seen something like that in my life!
I love Cadillacs
Great Video Kyle
love the cars
Um Kyle, this is a stupid question but can you please explain to me what the difference is in Drive, 2, and L?
I want that STS!
2.5 5 cyl Turbo
how much they want for the avalon it beautiful i hope it is cheap because the older ones popular
Saabkyle04: why do you pause the camera, start the engine first without us seing it as a cold start
hey kyle, are you gonna do a in-depth and/or test drive on the avalon? i own a 2002 but would love to see some features that might be on my car i didnt know about haha... ive got some vids of it on my channel if you're interested =)
i would totally buy that avalon lol
@GayUOPXBoy10 thats true, my avalon seems like a floating carpet with alot of creeks and rattles and suspension noise lol
I watched this 9 years ago on my old channel
What makes you think that? On the left side of the intake there is an actuator for the variable intake system. Thats about it. No throttle body!
are these the back lot cars to your dealership?
i love the sts
Can you make a video of the Toyota Avalon?
can you do another Backlot start up the car videos all of the cars thanks and post them on UA-cam
I honestly don’t know why the Avalon is even in the junkyard. It started up just fine and everything was clean.
2003 Cadillac Seville STS
2001 Volvo V70 Cross Country AWD
2004 Toyota Avalon XLS
I have a 2.0T and the engine looks exactly 100% the same with the V70's.
95,000 miles on the cadillac
Is the 2003 Seville still for sale?
@saabkyle04 CAN U PLEASE PLEASE DO A FULL INDEPTH TOUR ON THE AVALON IT WOULD REALLY BRING BACK SOME MEMORIES PLEASE!!!!!!
always had a thing for the last generation sevilles
2003 Cadillac STS 0:07
What year is the Avalon?
the bong in the volvo sounds like an Aston Martins bong
Where is the back lot located?
@MrMK94 it says v70xc on the back derp
is this your dealership?
0:33 My favorite car
The ding in the Volvo sounds like an Aston Martins ding
I Hate that Volvo Chime 3:16 but i still miss the Toyota Chime 4:35
really only 40,000 miles on the Toyota Avalon and it has a different battery already, wow
you hve become so popular
Nice Avalon! And btw, that Volvo is an XC70, not a V70.
V70XC
40,339 mile on that Toyota Avalon and it's looks still new..... lol
@collinsup Yes! it is a shame. they're such beautiful cars. I own a 99 v70, good car, little quirks. the 850 is also an amazing car, I have a 95 turbo. As well as a 56 Volvo and a 67 :D
the reason the dinger is so loud in the sts is so old people know they just turned the car on
Shoot that Avalon could go for another 70 years and still sound good
The volvo has the 2.4t probobly.
2.4 litres
20 valves (variable valve timing)
200 hp
285 nm
@jbrown122 That's so cool! My brother has a 98 s70 t5, I fell in love with it the first time I drove it, I'm trying to get a 95 or so and keep it pretty much forever :) Volvo for life!
@GayUOPXBoy10 haha my parents had an explore, great car the v8 was a solid engine too we ran it to 160k before we got rid of it
thats not a caddy horn...it must be going out....nice videos though kyle...wish i could buy that caddy...
2001 Volvo V70XC AWD, must have neutral control removed via software update, 2.4 turbo 5. i will do a complete inspect with that mileage.
on the STS, did you mean 95k miles?
whats happend to the deville?
Volvo's a 2.4 liter 5 cylinder low pressure turbo engine.
@Thund3r1991 Z3 is a 6 cylinder, not a 5.
the Volvo sounds like my s550 amg 507 hp
There's one difference. The Volvo's useful.
HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?????????
I KNOW THESE VOLVOS HAVE TRANNY ISSUES
Edward Koepke forever 300,000 plus the 01-03 can have some issues like that if not maintained
Mohsin Cheema how is it an s550 amg? Did you mean s55?
toyotas are great reliable cars. the corolla is in my opinion the best new car you can get for less than 20 grand
0:40 why is da five backwards
avalon's backseat is HUGE, and the jbl audio sounds really good, too bad it's not, and probably never will be considered a 'cool' car by young ppl
The XC70 has a 2.4l Inline 5 Cylinder
I think it's a 2.5 but I'm not for sure
@GayUOPXBoy10 exactly, any car will last long if you keep up with the car
Where is it please ?
@jbrown122 Ah. I stand by that though, as a volvo lover, future 850 owner....I've heard nothing but stay away from a 2001 v70. It really is a shame, but their transmissions just go quicker than tires!
@saabkyle04 yea but u say they have been sitting 4 so long.....was the part lost in the mail lloll !! jp but seriously ??
do not know the toyota avelon is that cammry in europe
My bong just makes a bubbling sound.
Volvo has Aston Martin chime, lol
thats because a lot of the parts on an aston martin are from a volvo.
Brian Lee It's because both Aston Martin and Volvo were owned by Ford back then...
Actually the Aston has a Volvo chime
the avalon is as good as new
thats acctually the XC70 ^^ a bit more plastic and higher ground clearence
when are U going yo back to the junkyard cars kyle :( that jeep should go home to ur dealship:)
really loud door dinger on the seville.
coolant level low on the Volvo at 5:57
i can't believe you just keep the keys in the sun visor :/. Surely that's not entirely secure...
Is this your job? =D
I’m going to get a 2003 Toyota Avalon
Can you actually buy these cars ?
