    Last night I decided to watch a 1 hour 30 minute documentary on MJ’s humanitarian work. I was blown away. Staggering amount of selfless giving and compassion for all of his existing life. I really recommend watching it it’s on UA-cam. It will upset, and anger, though, knowing what he must of went through with those accusations. But that’s another story altogether, really. Anyhow, it’d be nice to see some mention of his humanitarian work here. I think it needs more light shone on it :)

    I have a theory that Michael Jackson was getting into a rock/grunge stage later in his life that he was never able to explain. I think he built an admiration for U2 and Nirvana. MJ actually had spies come into recording sessions of U2 and got caught, however U2 was flattered that someone like MJ would take the time to do that. I think these two bands with MJ would be the ultimate match up. I also think that a romantic song between MJ and Celine Dion would be magical. Imagine You Are Not Alone mixed with My Heart Will Go On... Can't be beat.

    • @footballallstar44
      @footballallstar44 4 роки тому +3

      @Heather Lewellen You read my mind! Yes, especially in the 90's. The 2000s not as much at least from what he released. However, it is also apparent from a stylistic perspective, from the 80s perm hair style to more of a metalish, rockstar straightened look. People were shocked by his appearance with straight long hair, some people called girlish or "gay" during the time of his trial. But it reminded me of Kurt Cobain in a way. I'm not 100% certain of all this, however I know Nirvana had a huge admiration for MJ, as they were constantly wearing MJ merch on stage and even in the worst of times, spoke only very highly of MJ. So I think they to some extent knew each other or knew of each other well enough. As far as U2 they are both known to be outrageously generous and selfless individuals. They also were obviously both bad ass preformers. I find a lot of similarities between MJs songs morals and U2s. I think that both Nirvana and U2 had a major influence on MJ in multiple ways.
