David did an interview with New York Vocal Coaching in Nashville and he demonstrated how he slides up to the high notes in Just As I Am. It’s incredible to watch and hear him do it as if it were the easiest thing in the world lol. I can never get enough of David’s singing and we’re actually going to the Labor Day Barn Bash this year. I can hardly wait to see him live. Thank you again Lyle! Love your channel

Been listening to David since the beginning of his career and I’m still gobsmacked each time I hear him. And this online concert was off the charts extraordinary. Thanks Lyle for continuing to support David and thrill his (and your) fans with these reactions.
I'm 18, and I know these songs and David aren't really the trend for my age group and I get made fun of for listening to his music., but I was always drawn to this type of music, I've suffered with depression and almost took my life. And honestly David phelps is one of the best christian artists I've ever listened to. He's a legend
This is the kind of music that's uplifting. Keep listening to him and ignore the mockery. My son loves David and so do Now my son writes amazing Gospel songs. I believe David wrote this one.

I've seen David in concert many times and after meeting him I can say he's one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. So humble and certainly appreciates his fans. God has certainly blessed him with that voice.

I believe it it God’s powerful presence that touches my heart and sound when David sings. The message of the lyrics along with the authentic delivery by David’s incredible God given talent is used by God to speak to my heart and soul. I feel my need for a Savior when I hear David sing, to be closer and more like Christ every day. I feel His great love for me and am thankful for the free gift of eternal life through Jesus, the only way. I pray you have given your life to him too. Love you Lyle and your reactions.

It just goes so much farther than the PHENOMENAL vocals, it is the message in this song that makes me feel like I should absolutely fall on my face before God and cry out to Him! Oh, my goodness!!! David wrote this great song with Cindy Morgan many years ago. You reacted in February to his original recording of it from back then. It's very interesting to listen to them both back to back & see your reactions. He does have a 3 octave range according to some of his musicians, but even though higher on the original - his voice is SO powerful on this version. Love them both & your reactions, Lyle. Thank you!

This is one of my favorite songs to sing along with. I am still working on the slide, it is incredible. I can hit the top note, but having trouble with bringing it into a vibrato. This man is truly a vocal master.

I think that we all feel the same. Why can't we surrender everything to the Lord when we know it is the BEST thing we could ever do. Got to hear David in concert for the first time yesterday, and he sang "End of the Beginning" for us. Whole concert-WOW!!!! I hope you've heard "Even Then" because he got a standing ovation on it!! My new bucket list item is to attend a barn bash at his farm now that I got to see him in concert. Hope you get to see him in person as well!!

I love the introductory piece and then David sings Just As I Am. He is so creative. I have listened to his songs through the years and am amazed at how his voice kind of changes. But I personally think he is singing better now than before. His vocal training has really paid off. I never cease to enjoy listening to him sing. He is supposed to put a few singles out in August and a new DVD Gamechanger September 10th. Can't wait!! Thanks for your emotional comments. He definitely stirs the emotions.

I saw the current Gaither Vocal Band in 2020, before the world went crazy 😜, and I get to see them again soon❣️ The song that I heard the other day was” Your Love “ I sat there and watched and cried like a baby, and I watched it again, its just what I needed to hear at that time. Another fantastic, full-range vocal by David. Magnificent. This is just me, however, my vision is not as good as it was 70 years ago; thus, I wish they would go back to full color. It provides a much better contrast and is much easier on my elderly eyes. Thanks, TED.
