@@nhatnguyen7899 Phelps is great. The problem is the music that he sings is not challenging and lacks the complexity and skill compared to that which Dimash sings. On that element, Dimash wins hands down. Likewise, the consensus of international vocal coaches has chosen Dimash for the third year in a row as the Greatest Male Singer in the World. Phelps was second.
Could international vocal coaches be biased because David is a Christian singer? David has the most beautiful voice.

I have seen David live 11 times now, met him at least 8 times, as well as his family....I have been to his home for concerts twice...In my mind he is the best male vocalist in the world today and has been the best for the past twenty years or more. And it's not even close...and he is a genuinely nice and humble man.
Diana Ankudinova is a young performer who shocks us with her pleasant voice and takes us into the abyss of events!!! Diana Ankudinova is unique and inimitable, goosebumps from her voice!=)))) Diana sings as if she lives in the song! The soul freezes or opens with Diana's voice.=))))))) I am a musician who has been with music for years, and believe me, I have not heard such a tone in all these past years.

JAAAAAAACOB!!!!!! Hahahahaha!!!!! Thank you so much for this reaction................and for the shout out!!!! I swear that I was so surprised and excited when you called me out by name that I actually waved back at the screen...with no Skype or Zoom, etc.! And then I turned around and did it AGAIN when you waved at me in the audience!! Sheeeeesh!! (I also think I've just about used up my daily quota of "!" till next Tuesday! :D ) Speaking of breath support, we phans on his Discussion Boards in his old website used to joke about his "3 extra lungs," guessing, among other things, how long it might take him to blow up an inflatable raft, etc. LOL I especially love his performance of this song because I feel it's a good example of how EXPRESSIVE he is, using that ability combined with his amazing voice to convey what he was feeling. And, since I'm a former trumpet player who adores the brilliance of brass, who simply cannot get enough of the similar resonance in that glorious top note of his slide, I confess I loved your reaction of throwing your head back like you did confirmed what I had been hoping--that you, also, would appreciate it as well. Your mention of the importance of the word storyteller brought me back a few weeks ago to your awesome reaction to Bob Dylan, where you beautifully explained the #1 priority of an artist is actually to tell a story. Yes, I'll comment about THAT again too--QUITE the courageous thing to say, coming from a VOCAL coach. 'Going to share this reaction to some of my David Phelps' groups--hopefully some of my fellow phans will come on over and check you out! And finally, if you look as he was on stage gazing out into the audience, I was way in the back on the right, in the dark corner under the balcony, but happily I was there, along with my bottom jaw which was on the ground for the entire evening. Thank you SO much again, my friend......or perhaps we can include you and now officially call you phriend. :D

That's what happens when your mom (who was also a paid soloist, btw) was an English teacher who had her Masters before you were even born. Maybe we could do the duet of the really old, kinda quirky and funny song "Mutual Admiration Society" from some Broadway musical long ago, although I can only remember a couple of lyrics! Hahaha!!
