Such masterful harmony, true sync and incredible timing are all put together in this beautiful song, a favorite of mine, as The Four Freshmen always has been! Trumpet messed up on the interlude but then the harmony arrived and saved the day!

What a terrific solo by Curtis Calderon. Man, that cat can blow.
Most of the time, he really messed up one place on the interlude on this song!

Bringing me right back to 1959 when I was playing Love Lost on a regular basis.
Our new Four Freshmen are certainly carrying on the legacy.

I STILL have "Love Lost" album on my taskbar! You never really get over a lost love, whether they die or leave you, there's always that little empty place in your heart, where a certain love used to be!
"Love Lost" is my favorite album of The Four Freshmen! I play it about every other day! All the songs on it are relatable (if you lost a love) and the harmony is just outstanding! I had not yet lost a love in 1959, but I did years later, and I only discovered the album maybe 5 or 8 years ago or so, now it is my favorite TFF album!

These "newer"renditions are taped while the 4F's are live. Sounds as though they're in a train station.

I'm 81 and have been a fan of the Freshmen since I started listening to vocal Jazz. I bought two albums in the 50s .. Five Trombones and Favourites.. only two you say..hey albums cost $4.20 Canadian at the time. So over the years I've listened to all the Freshmen editions and there were good, better and "mmm"
It is my opinion this group ..26 ??
