Hell no, hulk Hogan, Austin and the rock crush him. Best interview? Piper, macho did it better easily, and on the big stage. He flopped in the WWF in those early 90s days. So bad in fact they took a chance on Bret.
One thing about Ric though was that he pretty much built the foundation of what wrestling is today. He would go on grueling tours to all these different regional wrestling shows and would pretty much always barely win against their best guys but did so in a way that legitimized them and ultimately made wrestling more popular. (It was a big deal if Flair was coming to your region back then)
