      @Bill Blaski I think he means that they were making quite a bit of money when first going to WCW compared to others, because Sting was probably over / a big draw at that time and commanded more $ with WCW, so he’s saying that others were annoyed / jealous of them making more $ than an “average Joe” or people that had already been with WCW at the time. At least as far as I understand, if I’m wrong someone correct me.

      @@billblaski9523 i thought it meant at the time, from the tone of Nash’s voice, that Sting was making a lot of money so without saying the exact amount because that’s tacky, the term “Sting Money” was made. That’s what I think

    I'm glad he asked what Nash thought about NWO continously expanding. I kinda expected him to say NWo was getting too big, but for him to say it amused him to see is mind blowing. The product gets predictable and stale after a while. You shouldn't want 85% of the roster turning into one group.

    • @twerkinalisha7346
      @twerkinalisha7346 Рік тому +1

      Agreed, it killed it. Def letting Macho in was terrible. NWO was made by Hulk turning face on Macho. They should have made a faction that joined together to combat the NWO

      there were some terrible choices but i kinda enjoyed seeing a group get so huge. i dont think it was the size that killed it but eric bischoff just ran it too long and never came up with anything else that big

    It’s usually the most copied angle in wrestling. The problem is if it hadn’t been done wrong 63 times since 2002, like let’s say after the WWE brought the NWO back which did work but Vince McMahon killed it because he couldn’t let a WCW product be the top selling T-shirts over Austin and Rock, but let’s say after that WWE, ROH, and TNA didn’t keep trying to do invasion angles or have other groups that were just ripping off the NWO, I think if a company got the right people today it would probably work. But it’s been copied so many times that if you do it today I don’t think it has the same effect at all.
    I know a lot of people don’t like the core members of the nWo but it is a 100% true fact that wrestling has the platform it does today because of the NWO.

    • @BigmanDogs
      @BigmanDogs Рік тому

      Well a lot of younger people have not actually even watched the NWO. They just know that the NWO was a thing. So it could probably be done provided the guys involved are on the original 3s level.

    This ain’t even the era i grew up with. I started watching at 7-8 y.o in 2008 but i just love to watches these old clips and have knowledge of the real wrestling. Like at today i feel like no…. I know wrestling is trash AFFFF. Nothing is good today except some storylines like edge and Brock because they’re legitimate athletes who put their body on the line (brock & edge earned it but edge prefers to give it all)
