Nice looking setup! Would be nice to have an off buildplate location for the blobs. Looks like the V0 is space constrained but may work for other printers with more room to the sides/front/back.
I’m the master builder “gsx8299” on the team but thank you for your advise. I’m usually the one giving the advice 🤣 just so you know all my systems work flawless all the stuff that goes into our repo I test ;) and BTW this is my Modular Setup to test new gear, it’s just showing off blobifier and a passive rewinder, some new electronics from BTT coming out soon. Though I’d still have to disagree with your assumptions. I work with Moggie on HH testing and I assure you this is working correct as coded in HH 2.5.x Software. I assume you have a custom setup with Custom macros and if so that would be awesome to hear. Catch us on Voron Discord where discussions get deeper ;)
Where did you get the files for the mmb mount/pre ercf sensor section. I made my own but I'm not I love with it..... I'm talking the section between the ercf and filamentalist. Thank you in advance
To be honest, I don’t sit there and watch these videos. I just post them to help others out in the end. I never saw anything that affected the print so it must’ve fell off the table before I saw it. Or stuck to the nozzle and removed with following blob
I’m the builder on the ERCF team you need to keep in mind that from idea to concept to functional but modularity for testing is something I need in my setups so we can get configs correct for multiple units and electronics ;) testing longer lengths also puts more pressure on the entire system so I can see what it’s capable of. But a 900mm Bowden length I would not consider long.
the entire system works for very specific scenarios, you can't print stuff too tall (or else the print will collide with the tophat/ptfe tube/wiring), and can't print on the entire front of the bed (or else the print will collide with the x axis extrusion). Overall I would consider this more of a poc than a final approach

Love the carrot Icon on the 3D printer head 🥕🥕
Looks great but the bunny ears look even cooler
Im almost done building my ercfv2 kit from TL. Cant wait to be doing multicolor
The head should continue printing during the filament change. The ercf should be as close to the head as possible

Can you please share the link or the documentation for the tool head ?
Why are there 3 candy corns hanging inside the enclosure??
Making them for you 😊
clever idea but still bambu like. I like the IDEX idea and no waste. I don't think IDEX will fit in V0.2 so I like yours as good.
Check out dueling zeroes
Is there a filament cutter in the toolhead? I really like how it doesn't use a purge block and you dont need additional nozzle wipers etc.
No I’m tip forming
@@gsx8299hi what is tip forming?
@@Ahmed-ic9ft using the hotend to form a good tip
@@gsx8299 Did you just do some trial and error for the tip forming macro or was there a good example that you found?
when it will be available to the public? this pasive rewinder?
It’s available now ;) github.com/SkiBikePrint/Filamentalist
Nice setup! What A/B motors do you have? On the video it sounds super quite! :D
Tbh I don’t know the exact model but they are LDO motors provided in the LDO V0.2 kit

ERCFv2 RC2
@@gsx8299rc2 is not out yet? I cant find anything on that
@@Ahmed-ic9ftthere's an rc2 branch, he's probably using that
It still looks like filament came out even after the first poop, does it have a nozzle cleaner before it starts the print again?
No the blob pulls off lingering ooze
@@gsx8299 at 2:27 or so, you can see some ooze on the nozzle after it knocks the blob and goes back to the print

wow, nice, my tip forming but it doesnt kick the purge after filament change. can share the macro for doing that?
It’s “Blobifier” with a custom Section of code in the .cfg
Why do you have everything that far away?

Doesnt the poop pusher take away a decent amount of print space? you for sure cant put any models near that corner

@@HitLuca94 well said. Not everyone can make there systems as modular as some.
Can you share the buffer instalation??
looks bufferless as the spools have a rewind mechanism. buffer only needed if you dont have some fancy whizbang auto rewinder.

What is the poop mod, procedure?
It’s a custom “Blobifier” macro
Can you share your modified macro?
