Great comparison, whomever designed that rook is a smart man :)

Great video. I would liked to have a comparision with a tuned in Rook 2020 though. The layers are imho way more inconsistent on the Rook 2020 prints. The v0.2 prints are way better in this regard.

the look much closer in person, the benchies are basically the same. Because it was only printing at 5k and the models were small I did not use input shaper. Also my Rook 2020 MK2 has a 3D printing 80T gear for the gear reduction which does not help.

I used to look to having either Prusa Mini or Voron 0.2 earlier, but when I was able to build the Rook 2020 and got it printing (and the serial), I dont look to have nor need Prusa nor Voron anymore.

I come from a "The 100" build and I am very disappointed with it. Mostly because of the "best printer ever"-like marketing. Currently I'm disassembling it and want to build a Rook 2020 MK2. The first minute of this video already solidifies my decision, since you don't over hype your printer! Looking forward to the build!

Shit frame design, again the "we are the best marketing", "racking", no real electronics compartments, general shittier performance than the rook for the same price.
      Oh and bad configs

hello! I am very interested in your simple core 3D printer.
I think we can emulate the voron trident for a relatively cheap price.
By the way, do you know where the BOM for simple core is?
    We support your 3D printer.

I don't feel like a beginner is going to build their own printer anyway (except for rare cases) and In my opinion both machines are too small for practical use although they may be ideal for models and very small parts.

    I definitely admire yor work.
BUT! please make a summary of your videos. Really. I like you and your work. But watching through those loooooooonnng videos where you don't find an end talking about details is soo draining. Sorry to say that. But for people with not much time it would really be nice to have a summary and not watch through the whole video, which every time could be summarised in 5 mins maximum. Most of the time your videos can be summarised in 2 mins. Sorry man. If I wouldn't be interested in your conent, I just wouldn't care and not write this. But I am interested, but really can't watch your videos.

When teaching students our professionals is always good to summarize and then bring details about the topics. Everyone can then choose to pay attention at those details.
