It's just called the Hover Pilder. As for the flying stand piece, it does clip in to the front waist part, so you can tilt it to an angle. I do appreciate the detail in the Pilder On and Scrander Cross segments. I also thought that it was strange Z was so big considering he's originally 18m, same size as the RX-78-2, but turns out in Infinity it's been rebuilt to 25m, meaning he's now taller than Nu Gundam!
Well, Mazinger Z started out with just four wapon systems - Photon B3eams, Rocket Punch, Rust Hurricane and Breast Fire. After two major rebuilds it has some sort of special gimmick or weapon (or couple) in every part of the body except thighs.
I think Netflix was going to stream it. I would still suggest you check out the Mazinkaiser OVA. It will give you a look at the three main kaisers as well as a bit of story on the main and supporting characters.
I just got Great Mazinger. It's in the backlog, but can't wait to build it (the twin blades spld me in it) I'm pretty new when it comes to Super Robots (Robot anime in general) but I have to ask...Bandai... Mazin Emperor G model kit when.
you nailed it the sequences haha but i'm surpise you didn't make him rocket punch other kits lol and the kit looks super good! i saw some with metallic paints on instagram and stands out even more
Shin Mazinger z gets really good as the show goes on, and I would say the infinity movie has one of the best cgi Mecha battles of all time.....As for infinity you're kinda screwed unless you wanna buy the DVD....
Really wish it was 1/100 scale. Looks kinda small. I'm a huge Mazinger fan since my childhood. Back then the cartoon was called Tranzor Z! for the US audience.
I heard you say MKL. Its SKL, like Skull, and its like.. dark emo Mazinger. Z Impact is definitely the place to start before going back to the grandpa anime.
I hate how this kit has way more accessories than great mazinger I do appreciate that great mazinger is accurately higher than Z and that his probably a bit more solid than z the lack of accessories really do say that bandai put alot more effort into Z and grendizer then.....my boi great......
I dunno but every time i see mecha.. i always look back to gundam.. like.. i dunno... I just like the design, the aesthetic of gundam, something that other mecha didn't have, i know that so many great mecha out there but yea.. I'm still in love with the gundam , but krow... Nice review.. although I'm not sure that I'll love this kit or not .. the details tho... For a hg.. superb

It's about the size of an MG Gunpla, this is tempting me to buy this kit and put it side by side with my HG 1/144 Gunpla.

Watch Mazinkaiser from the early 2000s. It's only 7 episodes and a movie and is beautifully animated. It also starts with Z and Great at the begin.
