Sometimes i imagine how clean and tidy and organized my life would be if i actually followed Laura's example instead of just living vicariously through her haha. Looks great, very satisfying!
It doesn't matter if you're working in your gardens, greenhouse, or Hartley. It's nice to see everything all neat and clean.😊 The pink geraniums are beautiful. 😊❤
I lost both my kitties last year and oh man I was not prepared to see your two sleeping so sweetly! It brought back many great memories of my babies. Thank you for showing them! You are so blessed ❤
Sorry for your loss 😢 We all love our pets so much ! 💔I hope one day you will be able to adopt more kitties, but I know it's very hard ! My heart has been totally broken when I lost my different pets over the years, but there is always someone new to love and who needs you to love them 😢😢 Hang in there and may God bless you 🙏❤️. From Georgia with love ❤
@@Deb-xn6yr that's very sweet and you are totally right. There will always be another sweet soul to love. Hopefully one day I can give another pet a loving home.
All that energy! But I think I've noticed your magical source - you stop and enjoy little moments. Not jut a one pat on the head moment, but a sweet long affectionate moment with the cats. Not just a letting the kids help but giving them lessons and actual helpful jobs will really pay off in their confidence and usefulness. Not just water the plants, but a gentle grooming and story of where each has been recently. Not just a sort out of soil, pots and plants but an organized way to use the space again while keeping the cats habits in mind (not being upset by their habits but just mindful). You constantly take little moments to enjoy. Makes me realize how slowing down to enjoy those moments can be invigorating. Thanks for my daily lesson today.
Hello, I wanted to let you know of a permanent marker that never wears off... Livestock ID tag markers found at a tractor or feed supply store. We have cow tags 10 or 12+ years old that have never worn off. You pump them a little to get the ink flowing. And if it is hot out, don't push hard on the tip or they will flow. But they work amazing, proven with my own winter sowing jugs inspired by your channel. Thank you 😊
Hi ~ Thanks for that great piece of info about the livestock ID marker! I will put it on my list of items to buy at Rural King next trip. Happy gardening! 🙋
You have some beautiful pots! The Eugenia look so charming in their new pots. There is something so satisfying about cleaning up and organizing a spot, it motivates me to get things accomplished. It is very calming to watch you go about your daily chores. Thank you for taking us along. Russel and Cheddar are always quite the charmers! And those feet! Oh, my.
I start my day watching your videos and what a treat to see your organization skills. I also work better when things are in their place. Motivation to get something organized today! Just wished it was a greenhouse.
It was hard to imagine what plants you would put in the Hartley but these classic plants are so pretty with the furniture that make it a lovely living space! You also make your greenhouse homey also and the studio!!! It has helped me also make living with plants comfortable and attractive. My husband appreciates it.
You certainly packed a lot of work into this video. Cleaning up the greenhouse and plants takes a lot longer than one would think. The kitties sure know where the good napping spots are!
@gailagnello8159 ~ Glad to hear you're feeling better. Wishing you a pain free & speedy recovery! I do hope the surgery is a success & you're using it again well & fast.🙋
Wish I had just one small green house to work in, but I do enjoy watching you in yours. The cats put a big smile on my face when you were talking and petting them during their naps.
So grateful to see the winter sowing update! This is my first year winter sowing and a really weird year here in eastern Iowa. I planted my seeds in cell packs and have used large clear totes I scored for $3. This week our temperatures plummeted below zero and below freezing again for almost 48 hours. I was chicken and moved my totes into my 40 degree garage for the duration before moving them back out to the walled garden. My lupine are almost as developed as yours and all of the Alaska Shasta Daisies are sprouted. It was goo to see my winter sowing is on track with yours! Success!
Awesome cleanup! Seedlings are looking fab. I do enjoy watching Laura go lickety split. And watching seedlings being potted up is very satisfying somehow. Accomplishment! 👏
wowza on all those geraniums..my favorite. I did order from Swallotail as well..thanks for sharing that! Mine will be 'behind' but I can't wait to grow my own! Dad always made us clean up our work space after we worked..put tools up etc..a never ending job in a nursery!! I miss working in those greenhouses..but mostly I miss my dad..this was his favortie time of the year growing off all those babies!! it was hard work, but so worth it and beautiful!! Have a great day & love to see your progress & of course those sweet cats of yours!!!!
A place for everything, and everything in its place. I liked the lushness of the plant stand your Mom provided for the center of the Hartley. It was complete. Great job today, Laura.
For fungus gnats use mosquitos bits or mosquito dunks. I have a shallow tub that I set my seedling trays in, to water from below. I put a shake of mosquito bits in the tub when I refill the tub. It has solved my fungus gnat problem.
That’s what I need to do with my craft room. Yarn and works in progress taking over my space. I wish completing afghans was as easy as repotting plants! This looks amazing.
Wow another productive day love to watch how you clean up and the cats sleeping. Great idea how you cover your dirt with the water jug so they don’t poop in it. Loved everything ❤
Good morning! Love getting spaces neat and orderly. I have a table in my garage that I use for planting and right now it’s loaded with stuff. I need to get another shelving unit for out there for storage. It was nice to see Cheddar & Russell!
The good Lord sure gives you the energy, lady❤. Enjoyed today's program so much....loved the kitties...we had to put ours down the week before Thanksgiving, but we had her for 13 plus years....Have a blessed day 🎉😊❤
I have lupines, yarrow, Maltese cross and poppies growing in my milk jugs in central Illinois. First time doing this. So excited. All new flowers for me this year.
So exciting to see all thebeautiful plants. Good cleanup. I bring my geraniums in as houseplants in the winter, and put them in sunny South facing windows. They have filled out recently, and are putting up buds.
LAURA, will you be giving the kids their own spots to grow their own garden? You speak a lot about things your family did and it brings you so much joy, you truly light up. I would love if you did segments/videos on gardening with kids or ideas of what to do with kids to get them interested etc.
ahhhh, a clean slate... love it!! no greenhouses for me but there are plenty of cabinets inside the house that could use it!! lol... 🥰❤thanks for the video! 🥰❤

Love these spring clean up, tidy up videos! It really does help me to get motivated. I wish you could do a seed starting timeline for flowers and veggies. Love seeing you do all the cleaning and organizing. I just realized that I got rid of all my small plastic pots. Now I wish I had kept them. In the spring, I’m always finding new little plants that have reseeded. I could have used them.
❤😊 Awesome and Amazing how Ur just do, get done, Lov Ur Strength and Ability ❤😊 Honestly Minnesota is experiencing great weather just got the bug too get outside too, all seeds are started in dirt, Ur Inspiring great boost to Our Home, Thank U ❤😊 Keep Rocking Life Beautifully ❤😊

We grow the edible eggplants in the states as well. The one Laura is talking about is Limnanthes Douglasil or roasted eggplant. It’s a small flowering plant with yellow and white flowers. It is native to her area. It is not edible and doesn’t produce fruit.
@@jgwood10 I know, I love poached egg plant 😁 she said in the video that the poached egg plant isn’t to be confused with the edible eggplant, and then she wasn’t sure if it (edible eggplant) was a fruit or a vegetable, so thought I’d help out. Both super fun to grow! ❤️
That’s so funny about Benjamin and his maple seed because my 6 year old grandson wanted to plant the seeds from an apple he was eating so we planted 5 seeds and 3 of them have sprouted. Just watching this video now here in Australia 🇦🇺 after walking my dog early this morning. Those Eugenia’s might struggle. I’d have soaked the rootballs in a bucket before planting. Best of luck with them!
Love how the cats fell asleep from supervising all the hard work you did.😂❤🐈
