Received my Mesto Sprayer today from the Garden Answer Online Store! So excited to use it with seed starting. Thank you!! Anyone else feel "so cool" when they use the exact tools or products that Laura uses? I'm such a Garden Answer geek.🤣
Laura, did you know the Ken's nursery in Wasilla, Alaska was playing Garden Answer in their nursery last year? Being so far from the lower 48 it made me smile and know I had found friends in that store!
Great job Laura, I’m just giving my thoughts on your bedroom ZZ plant. I would remove the pedestal and place the pot directly on the floor. The leaves are so beautiful you want to see them from above you don’t want to set it up as a second story view.
The arbs....can you plant a second row staggered in front of the original row? Thank you for being so real with your life and being such a breath of fresh air on UA-cam. keep up the great work you're doing.
@@lauragreen4899 I do not believe this row is the same arbs as they have used elsewhere. I believe they are thuja green giants. They have a graceful shape and are wider at the bottom than at the top. You could do a front staggered line. That is what I did and regret it. It blocks the view of each magnificent shape. I would leave them and wait to see. They are in a perfect setting for what they need and like and will reach their full size quickly as they are fast growers. But you are right overall. If Planting a new row edge them together slightly more than they are.
Don't fuss about the picture being blocked by the plant. You can see it as you move about the room and it provides an interesting layer to your space. It looks better there than not there. Love all the repots. ~ Lisa
I love that resin container! Put it on your store website and I’ll purchase it. Or have a contest/raffle. Resin pots are perfect for those of us who can’t lift heavy concrete, ❤
When I looked at the first choice of pot for indoors I thought 😳, Laura that’s why we all love your channel because you can see past an empty pot. It looks gorgeous and the plant is so healthy. Love the selection and colours of pots and stones..plus the cinnamon plant you did a great shop with your Mom. So nice to see the blue sky. Take care xx xx
Laura I bought a waxed amaryllis after Christmas at my local Home Depot. It was a very short one about 4-5”, and really didn’t expect much from it. I just wanted to experiment to see what they did. Yesterday, I groomed 2 spent blooms off it, and it has 9 more healthy blooms, with 2 new ones emerging!!! It’s blooming its little head off. I’m so impressed and it is unbelievably beautiful. I wish I knew the name of it, but oh my goodness, I’m loving it. Love you, your family…God bless❤
I took my son to the Domes in Milwaukee yesterday. We spent hours looking around the tropical dome, the arid dome, and the show dome. And a couple new plants came home with me. 😇🪴🪴🪴
Love the Domes! I haven’t been there since my boys were little and took them when the huge model train display was up. I need to go! And so glad they got a donor!
Aaron is sure a keeper!! My husband would look at me as if I had 2 heads if I told him I wanted a cement planter in our bedroom!! Lol!! Lovely bedroom with so much space!!
The aquarium supply stores had better order extra substrate gravel... I can imaging hundreds of us Garden Answer fans cleaning them out!!!! LOL. Beautiful work, Laura!!!
Having grown up in the desert southwest, cactus was a way of life, a pain to farmers but a boon to ranchers during droughts, burning the spines off the cactus to feed their cattle.
I like the different color saucer it gives it just a little bit of a definition between the pot and the pillar. Kudos to Aaron for carrying that all the way upstairs.
Self watering pots make keeping ferns more manageable! I just keep the reservoir full all the time. It's been a life saver for me since I love ferns so much!!
Hey Laura - I love your videos and never miss one. Even if I have to be away from home, I do a binge weekend catching up. Just wanted to say that I find a wooden spoon very useful when potting cacti (usually a spoon that got a little to close to the fire). Have you tried using one. Both ends work well for tamping the dirt.
My Swiss Grandfather was a great farmer and an adventurous gardener, he loved to push the envelope and I inherited that gene from him. I am fascinated by the Cinnamon Tree and looking forward to watching it grow.
I love the look of all the new plants! Did you know that MN Vikings fans are known as "Purple Peoples Eaters"? 💜 Whenever you mentioned the name of that particular agave, I wondered if Aaron knew that. 😉 The succulent bird bath arrangement in the Hartley looks so amazing with the sunshine beaming over it!
I feel like the base isn't needed. It makes it too high. You could just put the saucer and the top part (that the plant is in) on the floor. This way the top of the ZZ will come up to the bottom of your 3rd small picture. Just my thoughts/opinion. 😊
Good morning from Kentucky! Just a FYI from juniper level botanical garden and Tony Evert who owns it and invented mangave. You need to pot a agave 2 pots larger because of the fast root growth. That gardens in NC and should be on your bucket list to visit! SPECTACULAR!!!!
I love the house plants. They all look beautiful in their own way. The cinnamon tree is very interesting. I love the ZZ plant you put in your bedroom, and I think leaving it in its nursery can was a good call because based on how the several I own have performed you may have to upsize it in only a few months. It has some amazing roots. I love the cacti you placed on the table; they are so pretty. I love watching your videos and the only complaint I have ever had is that I wish they were longer. I enjoy them so much that the time flies by. Thank you so much for bring joy to so many of us. Have a blessed day everyone.
Such pretty combos of pots and plants! Why not getting a lazy Susan for the repotting, you can turn the pot without scratching the table surface. Also chopsticks for tamping the soil in place. 💚💚💚
Good Morning! 🌞 I enjoy watching Aaron & you work together! That corner is the perfect spot for that plant! Those cactus look very happy potted up in their new homes! You have inspired me to look for cactus & houseplants to freshen up my decor!! 😃🪴🌵🌿
So pretty! I’m glad you left the Zz plant in its container. That’s what interior plantscape professionals do in commercial and residential accounts. It allows for a quick swap out when the time comes. The cacti pot selection and rock dressing colors were on point! Well done. 🤩
Have you thought about putting all the urns from the driveway along the new pathway by the front of the house? That way, you and Arron can still do your planting challenges every year!
Hi Laura! Please! I am begging you. Keep the picture. You can see there's something behind the plant. Which is beautiful btw. It makes you curious and draws you in. 🧡
The third gold painting says luxury. It allows the plant to shine, giving it a beautiful background. What would be stunning is a larger gilt framed painting where the pair of prints currently are - to complement the lady in white and placed at the same distance above the horizontal wood panelling as the lady in white. Cocooning your ZZ plant. Perhaps a luxurious crushed velvet cloth over the table during Winter with lamp, an open book, bookmark and the candles. Then when Spring comes, no cloth - only fresh lovely plants changed out when you change the sheets. Always changing, always new.
I always wear my rose gloves when dealing with pokey plants. After being poked by a rose thorn and getting an horrible infection I ordered myself a pair and now I wear them regularly. 😊 Love watching your channel it always gets me excited to get outside and start planting things!
I love your ZZ plant in the bedroom! I think the pot would look great directly on the floor without the pillar. It would not block your picture then, too. Just a thought. Love your videos.
I don't like the pot anymore, I just spray paint it to the color I like, turn it upside down, and use it as a base. Despise throwing things away more !
Boy do I want to recreate that succulent arrangement. By the way, my amaryllis bulb arrangement, in a planter like your blue and white, omgosh. The 3 bulbs, all white are a show stopper. I take photos every 4 days. All 8 total amaryllis are blooming non stop. I now have 8 trays of seeds in progress. Thanks for all your inspiration. I'm in a happier place.
I had to laugh at Aaron when he was trying to find a lighter pot to carry upstairs instead of the one you chose. His facial expressions are so funny. Yet, he really wanted to make you happy by finding a pot for your bedroom. You guys make a lovely couple.I really enjoy your videos. When I have had a rough day at work, I can watch your video for the day and feel so much better. Thank you! I also love the videos with you and your mother when you go shopping.

Thank you so much for entertaining me with all your wonderful content. Love it so much! That zz plant is growing on me! I never loved them but you are definitely warming me up to them. All the plants are so warm looking and make me feel like going to a warm vacation place!❤
Hi Laura and Aaron! Your videos are how I start my day, so thank you for your upbeat and informative content. Ferns!! I love them also and agree with you about Boston ferns. FWIW - I wash out my vinyl indoor saucers when they get all ugly and brown. Soak them in dish water, scrub with a brush, and they look nearly new again. I do not like looking at the brown stained should-be-clear saucers.
Your succulent garden in the fountain is stunning. I tried a succulent dish garden last year and it didn't do well, but am going to try again this year and place it where it gets more sunlight.
Laura will be wanting a boxwood hedge around her bed soon. 😉
😂
I'm sure they make wallpaper in that design. Don't give her too many ideas , Aron will wake up to see her pruning the darn thing !
YES!!! MMSANRIO.....I LOVE THE WAY YOU THINK ~ SUCH A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR! THANKS FOR THE POST!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
lmao ....me too

Aaron is in a frisky mood this morning. 😂 I love how you guys interact. May God bless y’all.
