    Clark & Deborah: Andrew if you would run a bead of clear silicone around the frame/ glass and where the cord comes in the back, it will help from getting moster and water inside the lights.

    I came across a channel a while back for light reviews called Headlight Revolution. They are a dealer for automotive lights but they also test output and show the actual throw and shape of the beams in their videos. I never realized that many of of the lights on amazon are actually chinese ripoffs of western companies like JW Speaker, but often perform much more poorly. Many of those chinese lights don't even focus the light in the correct direction or position it seems. There are actually a bunch of lights for JL and JK jeeps that perform worse than factory but are marketed as upgrades. Although it means bad news for the wallet, i thought it was cool that someone is testing that stuff. Not saying the ones you got are bad, but it seems like a lot of folks don't end up with an actual upgrade when they buy them.
    Also, 100% a preparedness vehicle and is one of my primary reasons of interest in the Roxor. Thanks for sharing sir!

    That's a fantastic improvement! I love your OCD - it makes me feel normal for a change....I have it bad when it comes to electrical cords, wiring and anything of that sort. Pretty cool you mentioned it being a preparedness vehicle. Looks to me it’s IDEAL for that purpose. I have a 86 ram 50 4x4 I’ve been wanting to slam a little 4cyl turbo diesel in and just can’t decide on the recipe to attack it. Lil truck looks like it belongs in a tree row, only exterior giveaway it’s a runner is good 10ply tires. I left the outside looking like hell but mechanically it’s solid.. Not a 80’s Toyota 4x4 by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s fairly capable for a rebadged Mitsubishi..
    I started looking at side by sides. But all gas and living in rural America diesel just makes sense and to me is ideal. I’m not as young as I once was so not looking to blast down trails at high speed and not looking for a machine to take to the sand dunes. Pretty much talked myself out of a UTV and just focus on throwing a diesel in my lil ram 50. But the Roxor looks right up my alley and looks like there could still be some fun to be had on the river trail… I wish someone would come up with an aftermarket ECM or a way to unlock the stock ECU to tune them though. I’m for sure going to check them out and might end up with one.. lol

    Yes diesel lasts a very long time in storage. It is actually called Fuel Oil in some old owners manuals.
    Petrol or petroleum (gas) can last a fair time as well if you add a fuel stabilizer. Just wondering what is your thoughts and experiences using fuel stabilizers.

    • @TKCL
      @TKCL  7 місяців тому

      I only use stabil for long term storage and only store non ethanol. I've ran gas a couple of years old this way with no issues, but I don't personally recommend doing that. I just got a diesel bulk tank (video out soon) and I am running Biobor biocide treatment in it due to algae/microbial growth that's known to happen in our hot climates.

      @TKCL it's takes some filtering for it. And sone heat. Most guys will heat the oil to cook off any water. Then, pour it through a cheese cloth or something similar to get the large deposits out when pouring it into storage. Then, on the pump side, they'll run a step-down filter system from 10microns down to whatever they feel comfortable with. I'm in a facebook group that is all about this, and I haven't seen much issue. Even with the newer engines.

    Man I really liked the Mahindra Roxors earlier and they resemble Jeeps. Then Jeep sued them and forced them to change to that hideous look. I know they perform the same but they sure are ugly now 😂

      Lol they look OK with fender flairs and bigger tires/wheels. The older models sure do look better.
