I must say that the Pathfinder has impressed me. I had a LR Disco 2 for many years, but it got more stucked then my Pathfinder 2008 mod I have now. Cred to Nissan Pathfinder for endurance and no problems, it always find a way out of the mud and other difficulties :)
Are all this stock engines ??? I have a Pathfinder with some minor minor headgasket problems and I want to take it to some mud terrain to try to kill it, is that possible ??? Sincerely I realy like very much this car, but mine has some minor minor problems that no mechanik can solve it and I'm thinking of takeing it somewhere to a muddy terrain and force the soul out of it !!! That's why I ask if they are stock engines, only the engines interest me !!!
Yes, serial diesel engines 126kW and 128kW. the gasket under the head is not a problem to replace even a cracked head. It's hard to squeeze the soul out of it, it lasts a lot. *** they have only one modification - a closed EGR valve. 🤫 ***
Those things are absolute beasts off-road. 😎
