I can't even remotely begin to explain how this song makes me feel.
I come back to it and it always makes me feel so much. I want it for people so I can show them how I feel but it doesn't work like that. Gone are the days when my heavy heart is worn on my sleeve.
I listened to this song in November of 2018 when my childhood dog passed away. Today, my second childhood dog has passed away. I only listened once, but this was the only song I listened to this entire day. It is eloquently played.

I discovered The Head And The Heart about 2 months ago. This song hits more than ever now. My father got divorced when I was around 3 and last I saw saw him was when I was 7. He passed away when I was 16(didn't know until 2 months ago, 6 years later). The girl I thought I was going to marry during college, ended breaking up with me for another guy. My mother recently ran off with a womanizer leaving her 17 years of 2nd marriage and our family behind in confusion. Even though she was emotionally abusive, having your own mother leave you behind is just.....hurtful.
The people who were closest to me all abandoned me at one point in my life. Although it fucking hurts, I've grown used to it and more stronger. I've learned that the most important person in your life is YOU! You are responsible for your own well being and happiness. You are your own best friend, soul-mate, and mentor. Don't give up! Keep on trying and freely love yourself and others despite all the shit that has happened to your life. You are worthy and have a place to belong. Spread love and happiness! See the love you wish you could have seen and experienced in the eyes of the people you help and the kids you raise!
Wow You have been through a lot in life. Bless your heart at being so strong and keeping such a great attitude. I always agree with the saying There's always someone out there that has it worse than you. Thats always going to be true. I wish you nothing but the very best that life can bring you. Keep staying positive and make lots of wonderful memories.

I discovered this band by total accident. I was searching up a song I didn't know the name of, and the song Another Story came up. I pressed it, and I was mesmerized within seconds. I've been obsessed with THATH ever since...
This is the perfect song for a break up. Especially one where they break your heart,but then they keep trying to stay in touch. This is the best way to say "You left,so please just stay gone."

It can also be for two people who once had a deep connection but just lost touch over the years and the other is trying to make contact again while the other is wondering where they've been all the years when they needed them. In this case my best friend moved about a year ago and this song always breaks my heart.
listening to this song is like looking at a painting. You just stay still and listen to it, just as you would stare at a painting because it's beautiful and you could feel what it's telling. Been listening to this song for 5-6 years, never have i deleted nor forgot about this song. And I'm thinking of putting all their songs on CDs.
As painful as it is living this song, at least I'm not going through it alone. Like so many of their songs it isn't just the melody or the lyrics it is the shared experience evident in the empathy they share with their audience. The new album isn't the first album that I bought out of a briefcase from Charity almost 3 years ago at Moe's in Denver, but it's all part of a band's evolution. This is a song that has evolved so well in the past couple of years. The extended version on the album gives me goosebumps. Thank you, THATH.
The Let's Be Still album is by far my favorite album of all time, not just by the Head and the Heart, but by any artist. I'm not saying that any of the given songs are my favorite song of all time, but top to bottom this is a perfect album in my opinion. I am working on writing a master's dissertation at the moment and every time I sit down to study I cue this up and listen to the entire thing before moving onto Ice Nine Kills and really pumping up my study experience.
