I picked this for my son's mother/son dance at his wedding. Not only was it a reminder to 'just be still' and take in every lovely moment of his wedding day, but for him to remember stuff I taught him and that I'm always there for him. A good one, for sure!

I had turned my antique radio on, it was turned to static but I could hear still hear a melody behind it. I extended the antenna and raised it above me to get a better signal. I heard a melancholy song and caught the lyrics, “just for a moment, let’s be still”. ‘Kind of vague’, I thought, but it was a nice tune. I didn’t manage to make out the rest but I knew it was nice. I left the radio on static as background noise while I slept, the song haunted me but I forgot by the time I woke up. Moments prior to this radio incident, I had broken up with my girlfriend over FaceTime, we didn’t have enough time for each other. The timing of our meeting on this rapidly turning planet was off. We would never speak again. As I write this now, I listen to a song that was recommended to me through UA-cam. It’s the same song I heard just days ago. Maybe I’ll give love one last chance when the universe brings it to me again, for now, I’ll listen to The Head and The Heart.
This song was really randomly recommended to me, while on a road trip, which is funny because I'm normally an EDM person, became the destresser I needed for the day, so grateful let's be still and just enjoy this much needed song in the world right now.
