There is an airbnb hotel at 27th and 39th st called Sonder the dutch. This area is convenient going to and from manhattan. It is also safe, took the train from manhattan around midnight just use your best judgement.
Wait until congestive pricing comes into effect. LIC will be one big parking lot. I grew up and still live here. No parking. These high rise bldhave taken away sunlight. Us locals hate and these uppity newcomers. Good luck
