      This is what I remember...if he's been diagnosed with a degenerative knee issue, then it only gets worse; it doesn't get better.

    • @igorkalezic4739
      @igorkalezic4739 6 днів тому +3

      But the issue with the organization was how the players called Kawhi out for not playing. Remember Tony Parker saying his injury was way worse and he's back playing. So, they were on the verge of mismanaging his injury by pressuring him to come back. So, if anything this proves that he should've been sitting out while they were pressuring him to come back.

      @@igorkalezic4739 at the time it was pain management. The diagnosis from all of the doctors was chronic and degenerative and that he would need to play through the pain. Pain was not indicative of structural damage. Also, the players called him out because he went MIA in NY hiding from pop. Little to no communication with the team, dude wanted to be in LA and throwing shade at the organization was his way of pushing his way out.

    This Kawhi experience has been a failure for the clippers. Especially if u add the fact that they traded SGA to get PG. They needed SGA for that new arena and to challenge the Lakers supremacy that exist in LA. Epic failure.

    This 33 yr old, NBA 2x Defense, 2x NBA champion, 6x All-Star and 6x member of the All-NBA Team player, who doesn't do social media. Here are the facts: How many games did Kawhi miss? eight, 08, ocho. He missed LA's last eight regular season games and Game 1 of the postseason to quell the swelling. APR 29, 2024. I'm sure like Lou Williams said, Perk and no one else can tell this man when to retire. His team renewed his contract , cause they know what's going on intimately with his knee. These sport stations just need something to keep them from tanking in the ratings, and you all ^looks below^ get played the beginning of every NBA season.

    So if the Clippers finish out of the Play-offs or in, do they have any assets or draft capital to help for 2025 ?

  • @valis14

    Clip Show straight washed. This is why letting PG walk out of the door for NOTHING when you could've resigned him still reigns supreme as one of the most puzzling off season moves of all time that will only get worse over time as the Clippers still owe OKC multiple picks. As it is, when the Clippers miss the playoffs this year, that pick in this loaded draft goes straight to OKC. If the Clippers really underperform that could become Cooper Flagg or Ace Bailey; the Hawks won the lottery this past year with the 10th best odds.
    The ESPN talking heads keep telling us what a "great" FO the Clippers have... why? Because Ballmer has a lot of money? Pretty much every other sane FO in the league would've resigned PG, then after seeing what was inevitably develop with Kawhi's health problems, dealt PG at the trade deadline or next off season to recoup at least some of the compensation they gave away when trading him. A sane FO doesn't give a washed James Harden (who had no market and few suitors w/cap space) 30 million when they could've lowballed him to Klay Thompson money and still had money left over for Derrick Jones's of the world. If you're a Clipper fan, can someone tell me what the master plan is here? Ballmer's comes from the tech world, how the hell does he not know how to pivot?
