I'm reminded of this painting of a businessman in our area. He had this painting wherein he was dressed in red equestrian clothes like some European lord, complete with some hints of property in the background. He was rich yeah, but he was definitely no European lord and he looked more like some pompous DOM in the painting. Now I kinda know what it felt like for the artist who made that painting.
