    I like your skill to show different sounds by yourself, it's often really similar :)

    Hello, Bob, I'm Shoji from Brazil. It's a handy video and the best parts are your "sound effects" about using the tools. I love it!!!

    Hi Bob! Thanks as always for your wonderful lesson! I’m a hugh fan of your teaching! Can you offer a lesson about time and numbers too one day? I think knowing how to express time and numbers in various context is also important to non native speakers learning English. I look forward to it! Thanks again!❤

    Hello!
    In English it is fun that you have specific verbs connected to specific tools or things. For example "to wheel" when you use a wheelbarrow, "to hammer" when you use a hammer etc. In my native language it is unusual to have such words. It makes English language really flexible.

    • @nataliaillusion1869

      Hi! It sounds like your native language is easier to learn. What language is it?

    • @manerk8270
      @manerk8270 2 місяці тому +1

      @@nataliaillusion1869 Hmmm I don't think so. My native language is Polish and We have many weird things which don't exist in other languages for example almost all words have specific endings related to cases. As far as I know Polish is considered to be hard to learn.

    Once again, well done on the onomatopoeia! There's a difference between a shovel and a spade. It's an interesting lesson. I'm not much of a handyman, but I have most of these tools.

    Bob, you've given me a shock. One of the few tools I thought I knew in English (cutter, that's how we call it in Spain) turns out to be called a utility knife.
    In Spain, most people live in flats. We don't have all those tools at home. At home, we're not DIY experts and we have simple things. Do people use Allen keys in Canada? They're very useful for bikes and for assembling Ikea furniture.

    You won't believe it but there is a UA-cam channel dedicated to anvils
    Once I came across of it and knew that a group of guys retrieve old anvils across the US and refurbish them machining the surface. I didn't know that they ain't just chunks of metal.
