Cumbre Vieja : Pluie de lave et ondes de gravité

Activité du 26 septembre 2021, une semaine après le début de l'éruption. La lave projetée à grande hauteur retombe en une pluie de lapilli qui recouvre rapidement le paysage. C'est leur accumulation sur le toit des maisons qui a provoqué des effondrements. Par moments, les violentes explosions génèrent des ondes de gravité qui se propagent dans l''atmosphère. Les déflagrations cassent les vitres des maisons proches.
