We Will Remember: Homeless Persons' Memorial Vigil 2023 - Denver

On Thursday, December 21, the 34th Annual Memorial Vigil was attended by an estimated 300 housed and unhoused community members and paid tribute to people who died while experiencing homelessness in 2023. Vigils like this one have been held in cities across the country since 1990 on the longest night of the year.
The number of names read this year was 311, the highest of any year prior. An additional 18 names were added at the event by attendees whose loved ones had not been included originally.
