Oh look I make one simple metal box by using this thousands of dollar worth of equipment, WOW!!
Not even the corner notches are correct, you generally cut out 45 deg. corners to not have any access material, you also drill holes in the corners as stress relief when bending.
You also need to deburr the rivet holes otherwise they will have no strength, oh Jesus .... this is probably one of the worst DIY videos I have ever seen.
A Russian dude with no tools in the snow makes this faster and better than you with your whole garage filled to the brim with tools.

Wow! One of the best videos I have seen on youtube. I was wondering if you are ok with making a tour of your workshop and all the tools inside? I always love learning about tools that you wouldn't know unless someone showed you, if that makes sense? Those rare/esoteric tools are what I live for!
Hi Max, before rolling a bead in the middle of a sheet you need to stretch the metal first, this can be done with a planishing hammer (panel beaters hammer).

Great job! I havent used rivets yet, I tend to use ugly self tapping screws because I work with wood more than metal.
I bought a pack with a variety of rivets, but most are far to small. 4.8mm head width is a good size to work with. If you buy Polybulb you only need two lengths.
Those cleco fasteners look the goods. Going to have to order myself some of those, can think of a few times they would have come in very handy in the past!
Love your videos .... I live in Italy and i am from India, I do product design and do a lot of prototyping ... Its so easy to get job works done in India, especially laser cutting and bending when you work with sheet metal for a fraction of the cost .... On good laser stations like Amada etc.. The best part is you can get them done the same day :) In europe its difficult to get job work done unless there is quantity.

Its a work workshop so its a different scale of what is worth paying for. Any tools are basically 50% off due to the taxes.

They are very good. I pay the same price I just effectively pay half price with tax savings in Germany. Only works for legit business if course.

It's funny how you're just happy that you experimented and made mistakes, I personally would tear out all of my hair if I'd wasted that much sheet aluminium. That stuff is very expensive
The first version was flawed in so many ways that I was glad to get the opportunity to leave it behind and start fresh.
Good for you for having a house tools drawer. I usually have to go out to the garage!
Nibbler is pretty cool, as is the bender (brake I guess).

Great video. I think you have a great channel that would grow with more content. I like how you showed your failures. It's nice to see that other craftsman and their mistakes along the way. Im currently without my shop and so I have to vicariously make things by watching youtube videos. I want to make a disc golf cart out of sheet metal. I thought I would have to weld it but you gave me the idea to just rivet it! I also learned from your other videos about bending sheet metal. Thanks.
I had to look up what a disc cart trolley is. I actually build something similar! Welding thin aluminium is very slow and error prone. 3mm and upwards is much essier. 2mm steel however is very easy. Good luck!

Add to your to-do list… add a power window motor (etc) to the bead roller, and make or buy a foot switch. Let’s you concentrate on making straight lines!

I will finish it! Life just got in the way. I have a house and a working business now, so its a bit difficult to justify fun sport projects at the moment.

That would be Makita.
Depending on the project, I may build a prototype or smaller model using cardboard, scrap wood & hot glue etc.
Then I make advanced beginner mistakes with the good stuff. Hahh😮 Mostly woodworking-
I was tired and tried to save time. Meassure twice, cut once is true.
