1st thing that is removed is the throttle-stop (used during the burnout). Next is the air-bleed (you can hear the engine idle come up when this is done). These engine combos would be about 1/2 the HP (3-4,000) of their big-show-brothers. These cars are limited to a 6-71 supercharger, a 21 gal. fuel pump, single mag, and 12" rear slicks. About the only thing that these cars exceed over the Pro cars would be the engine RPM at the finish, which is around 10-11,000 RPM..@1,320' vs. 1,000'.
