i remember hearing a glimpse of this song on secret recipe and fel in love with it. i used to just listen to that few second video clips over and over, i just loved it. and now i finaly found the actual song, im so excited
I bet you I listened to this song over 100 times this past summer while at Disney World...so i now call this song "Magic Kingdom", since thats what it reminds me of....
i like this: 2:55 is super creative and really this is unique. obviously eddie van halen influence. i have this song for guitar hero 2 (xbox 360) want me to send her to you play?
@Zp33rz Yes, in the same way if someone plays a guitar with their teeth they're not necessarily influenced by Jimi Hendrix. But it doesn't make it untrue. So I've decided not to talk to you again ever.
Someone pls I need help wit something, I already notice the sustain that buckethead has in basically all of his solos, I just wanna know how does he does that. I´m sure it´s with a pedal because with my guitars, an epiphone LP and a american strat, it´s natural sustain last shit, but this just an impression the fact is that no matter how I use my fingers the notes doesnt last to long so pls tell me what is it or what can I do?
Carlos González I've never used one and I can't see a noticable difference when used live. They aid in shaping tone but... I honestly cant see how the added complexity would make life easier. I'm a simple man. Reverb, Delay, and a Big Muff is all I need. I'd do some searching here on the tube and see of you can find a guide on what exactly they do.
I alread did a bit research but I just found a lot of questions but no conclusions. I feel the same about the pedals I´m ok with my Whah, amp-Drive, Booster and probably from now on a whatever-it-is sustain pedal. All I now is just that something like the buckethead sustain is the one i´m looking for, and also I´m aware of the importance of the sustain regarding the wood in the guitar, the bridge and so on, but the BH sustain doesn´t look like a natural instrument sustain.
WHERE THE FUCK DID THE LIVE VERSION OF THIS SONG GO? IT WAS CALLED Buckethead - Scraps HD that version was insane, it's been removed :( It was my favourite song :( does anybody know where I can find it?
his guitar tone in the mid and late 90's is the best tone ive ever heard, period.
The emotion in his playing and his tone here is just phenomenal. I cannot stress enough my love for this song, it sounds great cranked up.
I HATE the fact that the outro fades out. I need to hear every millisecond of this song!
Always thought this. Those sweeps are bone chilling.

Carlos González try a light hall reverb and see if that does what your looking for.
I´ll check it out thanks bro, and btw do you now something about the sustain-compresor pedals?

Try adding a hall reverb. It adds some lovely ambiance and can help you lead notes into each other with a smoothness.
2:58 wow my face hurts!
