+Tomas Z I recited with him, I had memorized every word. And I am not even that crazed of a fan of this show, but this scene was so insane and Dinklage was so amazing I just had to.
ah yes rewatchin these and I had chills during this powerful performance. And I assume Dinklage put a lot of his personal rage and experience of living with dwarfism or the reactions of others to it into it. Also its such a great role. Probably the best for any dwarf actor ever.
Calvin's face during Tyrion's speech...the intensity of feeling there! And Eric tearing up...Gods, but I love watching you guys! I agree, as well...Dinklage nailed that scene to the point of pain!!
Any time a Tywin plan gets foiled, it's a good day. He thought he had this whole thing wrapped up with a bow, like usual, and he was going to get everything he wanted out of it, but the one thing he couldn't control was what Tyrion was going to say, and Tyrion didn't say what Tywin wanted him to because he overplayed the Shae card, because Tywin has no emotional intelligence, because he's a sociopath as well as a control freak.
This court scene is one of my best scenes in GoT. So much goodness there, Tyrion calling Joffrey a bastard, defying his father's plans, burning Shae and Cersei with his words, etc. Great reaction as always.
@@trinitysampson4126 Yeah, even now I think it's still my favourite scene and reminds me of when I really liked Tyrion's story compared to the final seasons. He's not bad but his final season character arc felt weak even though some of his scenes with Dany were nice. But yeah, this scene is still in a high place for me. But there is one thing. It reminded me of how much I miss Tywin and all the Lannister drama with the whole family.
This is what Game of Thrones really is, not the battle sequences or CGI, but the plotting and the bombshells characters drop on each other... House of the Dragons really seems to be capatalizing on that
In the books during the trial Shae says to Tyrion what he said to her in the tent when he met her " I pay you, and you lie to me" shame they left that out as it really shows what was going on all the time
Tyrion's trial is probably my favorite scene of the entire series its just great it has comedy drama a breakdown and badassery also it gives you something that not much of the series has.... Tywin being pissed and that is as awesome as Light Yagami breaking down.
The trial scene is down right my favorite scene of the entire show! Jamie's woes in the bath scene is a close second but Tyrion's painfully angry scorn with the Lannister theme and the look of Tywinn is just so perfect!
I love when Tyrion says "watching your vicious bastard die" Calvins face boils up with such intensity, he was really feeling every word Tyrion said. Fantastic reaction here
the pride that runs through my veins when dinklage ran through that speech made a fire burn in me, I hated that Shae did that like come the hell on to ruin his life and kill him basically?? Come on if you love him you should know the look in his eyes when he lies or the fact he can't keep eye contact at all. If be hurt but cone the hell on shae.
This is the first episode I ever saw of GOT, what a place to start. 😂 (The second episode I saw was the Long Night, but by then I had seen some clips online and knew the characters a bit more.)
Just wanted to say that Tommen is after Tyrion in the Lannister line of succession. Also: women are able to inherit in Westeros, and both Cersei and Marcella would be before Kevan. Women become eligible once you are forced to traverse back up the family tree, meaning Marcella would inherit before Cersei.
Well, no. He's _legally_ a Baratheon; he's technically a Lannister. If he were legally a Lannister, he would be after Jaime in line. The line of succession (taking into account the legal assumption that Robert is Tommen and Marcella's true father) is: Jaime (King's Guard, can't inherit), Jaime's sons (none), Jaime's daughters (none), Tyrion, Tyrion's sons (none), Tyrion's daughters (none), Cersei's sons (Jeoffery , Tommen), Cersei's daughters (Marcella), Cersei, Kevan, etc...
+Aadhar Tyagi You're right, that fact slipped my mind. I guess he's technically a Waters and wouldn't have any claims if his true parentage were known. He could always be legitimized though. Side note: At this point in the series, the (legally accepted) line of succession for the Iron Throne is as follows: Marcella, Stannis, Shireen. From here on out, things get extremely murky, and is precisely the type of situation that leads to succession wars, as house Baratheon is extinct if Tommen and these three die, and none of them have produced additional heirs. Note that the Lord Paramountcy of the Stormlands would be up for grabs in this scenario as well. The contenders would be: Rhaelle -> House Targaryen: Mother to Robert's Father; Current status unknown. Even though many in Westeros would say Daenerys lost her original claim, she gets another here through being Rhaelle's Grandniece. The fact that this House currently has no male heirs could be seen by some as weakening the claim. Lord Eldon of House Estermont
That throat-whistling thing Calvin does sounds like the extra tone produced by the Tuvan Throat Singers of central Asia. There's a really cool documentary about them called Genghis Blues.
8:31 i died xD ooh that scenario would have been soooo good! Jaime being chosen by the crown and Tyrion didn't finding anyone to fight for him so having to fight himself, MY GOD!! i can't even imagine how good that would be
God I didn't remember it was Tyrion's speech episode :D I was so happy to see it again! I've learn it by heart xD The performance of Peter Dinklage is SO perfect !
Im caught up guys!!!! I started watching game of thrones a couple weeks ago and have been using your reaction videos as a post treat after each episode. It fills good to be fully aboard and up to date.
It's the battle between John snow and the wights (and white walkers) on season 5. Remember at the end of the episode when the king of the wights resurrected all the dead "free folk" and "crow". Look it up on google if your still confused
Good question. I think this was the 1st decision that lead Danny astray. If i'd been one of her advisers, I'd have said: let each slave judge his own master. So those who were good and just to their slaves would get pardoned, as they would have deserved, I think.
So for episode 10, would it be possible to split the reaction in two parts. I just find it difficult to imagine fitting Mance-Jon-Stannis, Bran's crew, Tyrion-Jaime-Shae-Tywin, Brienne vs Sandor, Sandor and Arya's farewell and whatever I've forgotten into one video (SO MUCH HAPPENS IN THAT EPISODE)
I live in Japan, in public bathrooms if there is more than one stall the toilets play flushing noises so people in other stalls dont know youre crapping
This is part of what I miss about game of thrones. Because it’s ending there’s not a lot of room for grand monologues like Tyrion’s “I demand a trial by combat.”
Eric, please let Calvin do his "Dragon Sigh" (21:25) the next time he gets a moment filled with "that bitch" moment. Pretty epic interpretation of all our suppressed rage.
Tyrion indeed had a good scene at the end of this episode. But the last scene 28th Tuition and Oberyn in the next episode was my fav. "But what about what I want....justice...".
Hey Blind wave, what's your situation with animes? I know that Eric said he doesn't watch it, and Eren and Calvin have watched at least SAO, does they watch anime usually? And there is Shane too, would be cool to see a reaction from people who don't watch anime, watching some good animes. But then it have to be the good ones, like Code Geass (preferably), Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood or the less know but short and awesome Psycho-pass.
Attack on titan would be a good one cause of it's unpredictability and they like doing theory's lots of theory making for that show. Fate/zero would work to
More analysis and reaction, even if it's only to sound. So many things get cut. Cannot get enough. Next Saturday is tomato soup surprise! Calvin must learn that the episode 9 agony theory provides no protection.
Even after all this time Tyrion's speech gives me the chills, damn. Perfection.
+Tomas Z I recited with him, I had memorized every word. And I am not even that crazed of a fan of this show, but this scene was so insane and Dinklage was so amazing I just had to.
that speech gave me more relief than thousand laying whores
ah yes rewatchin these and I had chills during this powerful performance. And I assume Dinklage put a lot of his personal rage and experience of living with dwarfism or the reactions of others to it into it. Also its such a great role. Probably the best for any dwarf actor ever.
It kinda sucks tho
still today its so good
I love Tyrion. I wish they would've showed when he said, "I should've let Stannis kill you all." The way he said it was amazing.
Calvin's face during Tyrion's speech...the intensity of feeling there! And Eric tearing up...Gods, but I love watching you guys! I agree, as well...Dinklage nailed that scene to the point of pain!!
Debbie Garrett I think he put some of the pain from his real life experiences in to that scene. It was very emotional.
+Kevakazii it was! Gods be good did you EVER see such ferocity in someone's face aimed at this show??
Tyrion: I demand a trial by combat
Oberyn: *This is the way*
This Tyrion´s speech and Jaime´s on the bath are the BEST two scenes in this entire show... bay far.
@32287489543 then what are?
Blowing up the sept of Baelor is my personal favorite
for sure, but also love Davos confronting Melissandre about killing Shireen... that scene gives me such chills.
- Chaos is a Ladder
- Oberyn and Tyrion in Episode 7
- Davos and Melissandre in Winds of Winter
He won an Emmy for this...
Mirko Žaja No, he didn't. Aaron Paul won that year as it was the last season of Breaking Bad. But Peter won an Emmy the next year.
...
@@sorrypce2206 right
He deserve it. Such an amazing performance.
By far the best acting in a TV show
did anyone notice calvin's face when tyrion gave his speech lol! the true embodiment of the the emotion in this part of the episode!
Any time a Tywin plan gets foiled, it's a good day. Tyrion: I DEMAND A TRIAL BY COMBAT!
*Oberyn will remembers this*
i demand a trial by.............dance
seriously, it exist look it up, someone made it
Revan
Trial by drinking and whoring, that would have saved Robert and Tyrion of so much trouble
Calvin's face when Drogon shows up xD
This court scene is one of my best scenes in GoT. So much goodness there, Tyrion calling Joffrey a bastard, defying his father's plans, burning Shae and Cersei with his words, etc.
Great reaction as always.
curious since it's been a while, do you think that scene is still at as high a place as it was when you commented that?
@@trinitysampson4126 Yeah, even now I think it's still my favourite scene and reminds me of when I really liked Tyrion's story compared to the final seasons. I fucking love Calvin reacting to dragons! :D
that last scene man, soooooooo good.
That speech is still one of my favourite acting moments of all time. So. Fucking. Good.
I actually had a tear in my right eye at hi speech, I felt bad and happy for him at the same time
THE INTENSITY OF THE RAGE WHICH FILLED CALVIN'S FACE DURING TYRION'S SPEECH, THOUGH!
by far my favourite Tyrion vs Tywin stand off. the stare at the end gives me chills everytime!
Fantastic reaction here
Season 4 is the best season of this show hands down. Everything was perfection
Yeah I’ve always said season 4 is the best
GoT was so extremely good in those days. I feel so nostalgic when I watch this pure gold scene (Tyrion's trial).
I say that line “You’re not my friend, my friend” maybe 3 times a day
My god!
Peter Dinklage is such a good actor, he is so amazing! that was really the best performance ever on GOT!
He is my favorite actor ever!
the pride that runs through my veins when dinklage ran through that speech made a fire burn in me, I hated that Shae did that like come the hell on to ruin his life and kill him basically?? Calvins face during Tyrions speech hahahaha well into it.
Goddamn, the raw emotions on Calvin's face during that speech, holy sh*t.
I love calvin's reactions and alalysis and Eric's mimicry of various characters specially Robert.
That throat-whistling thing Calvin does sounds like the extra tone produced by the Tuvan Throat Singers of central Asia. There's a really cool documentary about them called Genghis Blues.
Seeing Calvin’s expression while Tyrion was speaking gives me relief. Lol
9:53 I remember at that point feeling relieved because Tyrion could be alive and join back up with Jon Snow. I was wrong, of course.
Peter Dinklage gave the Performance of a lifetime with that speech ~ one of the best delivery's of a monologue on any show, ever.
8:31 i died xD

Amazing, quite literally an award worthy performance.
you can see the tension and excitement on Calvin's face during the Tyrion speech...awesome reaction
I like how Jamie does care a bit for terion.
Such great acting by Peter(Tyrion) in this episode.
I cannot be the only one who teared up when Tyrion gave his speech.Once again an amazing episode!
Damn, judging by Calvin's face during Tyrion's speech I think he would have stepped up to be his champion.
"I am his hor. His shae da funny hor."
21:27 That sounded like the screech of a White Walker... I thought Eric was going to say how they sounded the same..

Peter's greatest performance.
Haha. Calvins face when Drogons appears above the sheep.
Thanks for doing these! This is like my new sat/sun morning show :)

"Has anybody in the WORLD ever done that?" lmao good pterodactyl sound imo
Tyrion indeed had a good scene at the end of this episode. But the last scene 28th Tuition and Oberyn in the next episode was my fav. "But what about what I want....justice...".
Tyrion has always been my favourite and after that speech I just loved him even more

5:30 Calvin looks so INSPIRED.
Been waiting for the trial reaction! Sooo good
More analysis and reaction, even if it's only to sound. So many things get cut. Cannot get enough. Next Saturday is tomato soup surprise! Calvin must learn that the episode 9 agony theory provides no protection.
Loved the reaction guys, btw the game of thrones season 6 official trailer drops Sunday, will you be reacting to it? (cause Calvin ain't caught up)
+Jovi Levi :3 No problem :D
+Jovi Levi :3 yeah they look pretty good, they are literally teasing us so much AHHHH!!
Would’ve liked to see them react to Ramsay fighting with the sword and mace
Ah man, I miss your reactions !
i tried the pterodactyl noise and it works! rad.
Not ready for tomorrows reaction
"He doesn't show his tells" O boy wait till he see........
12:53 Calvin is gonna be saying that again in 2 episodes!
Really enjoying these reactions!! Will you (Eric and Calvin) do these together when season 6 airs in April too? :D
Top 3 scenes in the show by far
Great episode and reaction.
As you can imagine Shae was not the most popular person on Twitter after the episode aired.
