Johnny Tran's car was so fast even his windows were turbocharged. I've never seen power windows drop that fast.. ever.
😂
NOS man, it makes everything faster.
Maybe they broke down and dropped in that very moment. 🤣🤣
i cant remember what movie it was or maybe this one... someone rolled their windows down 2 times, haaa
His shirt was even turbocharged that it removed itself while he was waiting for the countdown
(Side note: the film rate was undercranked when he rolled his windows down so it looks faster. Think "Gone In 60 Seconds" when the helicopter was chasing him through the L.A. River)
Toretto and his crew really are the bad guys in this movie. I mean, they stole merch from trucks and beat their drivers like they were nothing. And this dude right here won a car fair and straight, and yet, the movie tries to convince us that he is in the wrong for wondering where his prize is
What about tran blowing up brians car for no reason and pumping oil into a guys mouth and it doesnt really justify murdering jesse
this is fr bro. i don't like how they treat the asian dudes as the bad guys. Toretto and his boys were the real villains
@@Bjlawesome198 tran blew up brians car was uncalled for yeah, and idk about the oil. he was right to kill jesee tho
@@woodychelton5590 since when is murder justified except in war
@@Bjlawesome198 since when does war justify murder
90% wrong, 10% right yet we still love it
when Dom starts screaming "I never narc'd on nobody", you can see in Tran's eyes the realization that he knows it's true and at the same time the satisfaction he knows it was someone in Dom's crew...
I thought that look was just a “I finally have a reason to take him out” because Dom hit first
I think he was smiling because he realized it's true and that made him happy. Tran didn't like Dom but he respected him.
@@svetlinnikolov8710 Wow that was deep. Never saw it that way 👌🏻
yeah no im sry thats the face of i will get revenge
@@svetlinnikolov8710 lol so why did he went with his friend to basically kill him and Jessie? Guy above is correct, that was the last straw
Letty's background track is spot on, they mixed it so well and also creates an amazing atmosphere in the 2000s california.
@@Joey-kv7fy BT - Nocturnal Transmission
@@BernabausLove that trance track!
That track already existed before the production.
It was released in '95.
"Well they're gonna throw him right back in prison after he kills you"
Never gets old
Neither does Jesse
Exactly
Until he loses
Jesse's first mistake was thinking his boxy FWD sedan could beat a RWD sports coupe.
he thought his NOS will take him to victory...how wrong he was
If the Jetta had a supercharged VR6 or just slide in a W8, that S2000 would probably lose but not a lot
Overconfidence was his failing
i think jesse was on drugs bro
Bro tell me about it 🤣🤣 that’s always been in my mind
Ah yes NOS, the secret to win any race in the F&F universe since 2001.
everyone has the nos… not blowing it early is the secret
Yes
I know huh🙄😏

Still the best movie of the franchise till this day!
Nah that belongs to Tokyo Drift my G but it's super close
@@joset9240 Tokyo drift is so corny the first two are the best
@@joset9240 *2 Fast 2 Furious* was the *BEST.*
2 fast 2 furious is the best one
I think the first 3 where all the best after that it turned into a spy 007 movie or some shit
good old days when the movie was all about cars and street racing :((
Yup. And they all run on the ground.
True
Yes!!!! Now they can fly and all these crazy things
Right. Now what there doing is just outrageous.
you talk like the new movies are bad, i bet you will watch the next movies as soon as possible as soon as they come out LOL
Ah yes back when fast and furious was about street racers. Not criminal geniuses or multi national spies. And damn look at how young vin was.
This movie was literally about criminal geniuses racing cars and stealing tvs in a way only James Bond or Batman could. And Brian was literally a spy for the U.S. government.
@@dray7276 No it was about street racers, and Brian was a undercover cop trying to break a ringof truck thieves. Then in a few short movies later, Ludacris is a genius who can break open bank vaults. And they are driving multi milliion dollar cars off sky scrapers. So yeah it went crazy have to admit that. Criminal geniuses? come on man.
It almost likes it's taboo to have this kind of genre today. Theres like no outlaw street racing style movies to be found today. Sure theres high speed chases or cars just going fast but not just regular ol' street racing. I'd love to see a Midnight Club style movie or need for speed but not the one that came out. That was just wack.
By far the best movie of entire saga.
well it's the 1st one, of course it is
This and tokyo drift are only of the franchise worth watching
Also 2 fast 2.furious
@@crozgs4474 5 was solid
Nah, Fast Five >
This was filmed at San Bernardino International Airport, the former Norton Air Force Base. I grew up a few miles from there. I remember when this was done, so cool to see familiar buildings.
How long was the filming?
@@jesseincognito. It's been a while, couple of days I think of actual filming. I wasn't a part of it I just remember the filming going on.
Wow, that's so cool, you witnessing the best history from F&F franchise
What I really like about this movie is how Dom is a father figure as well as an anti-hero. He learned alot from his dad about watching over people and looking out for them. But he's also his own man and doesn't answer to anyone. Yeah this movie is about street tacing and that whole culture, but I think Vin does a good job of acting and developing the Dom character. Vin is Dominic Toretto.
"street tacing"?? What the hell?? Ok.....
guy is a terrible actor acting bad at best
bro this ain't de niro
00:15 wild jcole harassing letty for a race
Where is the time I can't believe that was 2 decades ago when this movie was released. Good old dayz was the greatest and the scene is so classic. It really reminds me when i was growing up watching this movie.
If this was FF8 or 9, Tran's head would be embedded in the concrete while Dom says something about Family and then pauses for dramatic effect. Meanwhile a remote controlled nuclear submarine emerges in the background with his cousin's brother that has a grudge because he killed he's mother's cousin. Meanwhile the rest of the crew is trying to hack a super-computer on the international space station because of a virus that will destroy something because of something they need to do to the something not to happen or something.
Oh, and Roman is screaming something about this being crazy and he's out or whatever.
Thought you did something 😂😂
This is really quite something. lol
You really have something against these movies dont you lol
@@adrianaron9639: The fact that they stopped being the Street Racing movies we loved them for being from Tokyo Drift to the most recent one!
Somewhere, somehow...Jason Momoa will bring Johnny Tran back from the deads and the two villains can team up.
Momoa forming a villainous group from all the early Fast sequels:
F1 - Johnny Tran
F2 - Verone
F3 - Takashi/DK
F4 - Braga
F5 - Mamoa himself
Anybody notice Jesse had no calipers on his car and jonny removed his shirt whilst racing takes some serious skill that 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's why he didn't stop after the race lol
Also the the fact that Honda CRX (the one behind the dark red Lexus SC300) is right-hand drive got me super hyped when I saw this in my teens. Any import car that was right-hand drive was as exotic as any Ferrari or Lamborghini to me.
RHD in LHD territory is tarded. Do you think you're cool reading books from the right to left as well? The only positive thing I can think of, is if you are in a head on collision and being on the right side saves your life. Course it would seem that driving a RHD car on LHD streets increases your chance for causing, or failing to avoid an accident by a good amount.
@@pearlmax I never said it was a good idea to use a RHD car in a LHD country. Idk why you're so upset over this. Including reading left to right reading as a sort of insult is a little ridiculous. I just grew up watching jdm videos like Best Motoring and Keiichi Tsuchiya doing all kinds of crazy car tests. So the idea of a LHD being exotic and "cool" was ingrained in my brain since a young age. I actually don't even drive, but if I did I would obviously use a RHD car.
The blue and white crx was feature on “true life im a street racer”. Check it out. Although the didn’t win many times. Same guy owned a RHD Integra.
Better than racing by a submarine
@Sibtain Haider go away samurai i hate iphones
Better than racing to outer space? 😁
When a submarine can go like 280 km/h simply ridiculous. How down this franchise has gone.
@@fabulousfrance the fastest nuclear attack submarine can go up to only 77km/h (42 knots) and has to be submerged to achieve that speed
@@shepherdlavellen3301 yes. Thank you for making my point.
Dom had more dialogues in this movie than all the rest of F&F combined.
He wasn't even in 2 Fast 2 Furious
@@Alysa-Aiday he's obviously talking about The Fast & The Furious 4 and onwards.

Lessons learned is don’t intimidate a girl in a pink sport car cause she will have you Broke 🤣
2:37 best moment
no, for me it's 1:14 :)
that "never narced on nobody" came from the heart
Honestly for such a smart guy, Jesse did the dumbest shit in the world here
1. Raced someone that he knows for a fact has extraordinary amounts of money through his connection with Dom. I mean, he could have raced ANYONE who isn’t Johnny Tran for a pink slip and won
2. Bet a car that he doesn’t own
3. Being the mechanical genius that he was wasn’t able to sense the difference in power between both cars
4. Again being the mechanical genius that he was, didn’t fucking wait for the right moment to use his NOS
Jesse has some mental problems in this story so you cant fully blame him
Facts
Johnny didn’t give a damn about that car. It was to spite Dom because it was someone a part of his crew and because he was pissed because he thinks someone apart his crew ratted him out.
"Hey Fast Fam, I'm Craig Lieberman and I've been tinkering on cars since 1980."
I've owned more than 40 cars in my lifetime. Some were heros, some were zeros.
But never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that two of my cars would become a part of a movie franchise.
My Supra, my GT-R, and my Maxima all had starring roles in Universal’s Fast and Furious franchise.
4:42 makes me laugh that toretto face when he says orogo
Salvador delgado : desgraciado
Tran made a big mistake of accusing Dom of ratting him out to the police. When Dom clearly had nothing to do with it. Tran’s emotions of anger clouds his thought process.
1:03 i love this moment "see yaa"

Vince in the extended version of this scene told Dom “if anybody is a narc you know who it is”

@@TheDarkarrow7 that’s basically the scene I was talking about. When movie companies make cuts to scenes, your absolutely right they become “deleted scenes”. Johnny had to be killed off you saw how fast he was when changed shirts No way they could be that fast!! Lol
The longest 1/4 mile in every scene LOL!
only the real one notice the t-shirt change in the s2000 😂
Jonny Tran 😭
quick release shirt
Weight saving is very important in racing. He would’ve kept the shirt on for the purpose to weigh down the car for wheel spin to warm up the tires and then toss it out the window upon the launch 😂
0:11 bucket seats
0:38 no bucket seats
2:31 social shirt
2:34 sleeveless shirt

That music from BT. Early 2000s vibes.... beautiful. 😢
Dom hit that dude so hard the next scene he was on the other side fromm where he ran into the punch he threw lmao
Knocks his teeths out " I never knocked on nobody"
I don't care how cheesy the F&TF movies seem. I still love them (at least the first three films). This scene gets my adrenaline going so much. It also makes me wish I actually got into the import car scene when I was in my teens and 20's. Now it's a little too late to get into it imo (I'm in my mid-30's).
never too late
@@sugoi9680 Thanks for the nice comment. Maybe if I ever dig myself out of this hole I'm in at the moment (no job, no drivers license, bad health, etc).
First shots of Letty’s car, you can see she has racing seats with harness holes. Then at 0:39 she has stock seats.
2:32 Tran has a shirt on, then at 2:35 it’s changed to a vest.
And the famous missing brake calipers at 2:37
This scene’s an absolute mess 😂

Anyone appreciating how the term “Race wars” hasn’t aged well at all xD
yeah, in Fast 7 all the cars look different and much faster due to time
If someone asks me in 2040 what the 1990's were like I'll show them this.
I hope the last two installments go back to the original roots
Just incredible how fast Tran got his T shirt off before launch.
I never narc'ed on nobody...by which I mean, I always narc'ed on somebody 🤣
These movies are freaking awesome
This is the Best FF Movie to me it’s unforgettable ❤️

My favourite thing is the sticky labels on the steering wheel saying 'NOS', just in case she forgets what those big ass red buttons are for 🤣

Now with recent from 5 to 9, it's just doesn't make sense
