The majority of people have not had water, electricity. Roads, infrastructure etc so why would keeping the areas that had function, keep funtioning and maintaining a standard while lifting those who dont have. The majority of people who dont have dont even manage and maintain their own space so how can one think they will vote a party in that maintains and up lifts. They simply want up liftment at the expense of it being to the standard reached and would rather lower the standard which will create disinvestment by thise who contribute the funds to govern.
