My dad died because of the incompetence in JHB general hospital in 1995 , they stole his wedding ring and they never even tried to resuscitate his collapsed lungs . I understood that the GNU was a group of politicians running the country [South Africa]. It would appear the ANC and Cyril Ramaphosa believe they can do as they like, what about the other parties in the GNU. Are they just there for there votes?

What about the working sector having to take off a day every time they need a doctor . South africa has more of a younger population who are working not primarily a lot of older folk that dont have to take time off. When i had to use govt hospitals i sometimes had to take unpaid leave to attend a govt hospital. Sometimes queues so long we were told to come back. And sitting huddled up on only a few benches everybody was sick and sneezing and coughing. They must fix the hospitals, they must build new hospitals especially in the rural areas for the older people to get there and give good medical care under clean conditions.

As long as we dont have to pay towards it, we have enough heavy medical bills and contributions. The govt can hopefully cover and givebthe majority a good deal and definately the care that they deserve and are entitled to . There is plenty of money im sure to look after the underpriveleged.

Due to schools still operating within the Apartheid race-based system, schools in White areas don't appoint educators from other racegroups although the demographics of the learner population have changed for decades. Applicants to vacant posts have the right to request their respective unions to sit-in to these recruitment drives to assure their members are not unfairly treated by these racist gatekeeping structures. If the minister doesn't have power to change the constitution to nullify the rights of workers to join and or form unions, than this is just hot air of a new broom. We need transformation of our institutions, not political expediency and media PR campaigns, which seems to be the new trend.
