@xnonsuchx I agree with you. I think there are songs that shouldn't be messed with because the original versions are nothing but perfect. It's not bad but it does "feel" strange though.
The Czar Mix of this song is WAY superior to this and all other versions of it (the main instrument in that mix is a killer piano that is absent in this and all other versions).. If you haven't heard it yet, you don't know what you're missing!

I have this CD and have such mixed feelings about it. XTC remixes???
XTC hated this! It was done by Virgin without their knowledge.
Veers dangerously close to doof doof music. Can't you guys lose the sequenced bass?
It sucks,bring back the original.
