Yeah, like when I was in my band The Ringles, it was just about the music. Then Paul was like "fuck you, John. I'm the leader, not you." We were just a BAND, you know? -Ringo, leader of famed band The Ringles
honestly i'm impressed with how well the song holds up to only using one chord, it still sounds musical and skillful the B minor section is kind of beautiful in a sad way
Huh isn't it the *key " of B major and B minor, which has multiple chords like C# min, D# min (for B major) to name a few. So there's no issue with chords
This used to be my favorite song when I was a kid. My brain saw and heard this extremely weird edit, noticed something was slightly off, and within 5 seconds it decided I must be starting to have a seizure, and just ran with it. I'm not even mad. That's amazing.

As a bit of a drone guy, I feel you could turn the major version of this into something really moving - the piano/organ goes through some little repeating harmonic shifts that are quite pleasing and the vocal melody is still quite nice. Could be fun to write a proper arrangement of.

Louie, thanks a lot, terrific idea. You might be interested to know that tango music as it was composed in the first half of the 20th century was almost always structured as verse and refrain with the verse being in a major key and the refrain being the parallel minor key, or vice versa (verse minor key and refrain parallel major key). B Major sounds like someone's got a gun to their head, B Minor sounds like they're singing this at the site of a terrible tragedy
And the photos change, accordingly.
Unfortunately I can't un-see them. 😢😳
i took some liberties with the melody in the B minor version. also, some chords kind of didn't turn minor. i hope you can forgive me
There is no forgiveness in my heart, Louie. Thy punishment is Death.
No, I can't forgive you man 😮💨😔
Un-B-leviable
I can forgive you for that, but not for anything else you did in this song.
Speaking on behalf of your entire audience, we may consider forgiveness if you reply with your favorite letter from A to G

Let it B Major is like one of the more monotonous hymns you sing in your grandparent's church, while Let it B Minor is basically just a funeral dirge.
I love how unecessarily tragic the b minor version is and how intensely uncomfortable the B major version is
This feels like slowly slipping from a positive state into a damned maniac depression.

Will this be a series???? Can I ask for The Bee Gees but with only the notes B and G??
I need the B Gs
Or just the keys B and G, or the chords B and G like a I and V thing. There’s something here for sure
Just do a song of G and make it by The Gees

The B-gees next?
the B-Gs

B-jork

We're absorbing the B with this one
Let it Be major makes me feel the entire body like Ringo's face on screen. Minor version is more listenable. Sounds a bit like an angsty reggae tune.
This way it has the same harmonic deepness of modern post punk bands. Sophisticated!
