Yes that is a Boston Whaler 13 ...And yes they are very forgiving vessels ... And yes they will take you places other boats fail at...Great boats for younger people to operate ...Even better for fishing in skinny waters ... Learning how to ski ? Yep they will do that too...

Pfffft. There's a fine line between brave and stupid. This is stupid. Tiny bit of water gets in that boat and he's sunk in 2 seconds flat and getting ripped out to sea. Nothing short of parental negligence right there.
Negative comments from two people whom to anyone that has extensive boating experience and any skilled captain would know… “any tiny bit of water gets into that boat and he is sunk in two seconds”. LMAO!!! Anyone with the aforementioned experience knows that is a vintage unsinkable 13’ Boston Whaler the kid is skillfully commanding, and he did a great job..

@@hmhobbies Try reading my comment again a few times. I didn't call anyone anything. The act is stupid regardless of what make that little boat is. Boston Whaler isn't the only manufacturer of skiffs like that. There have been countless copycats over the years but I guess you must have some insider info. Once again, it's irrelevant anyway. That kid falls out of the boat and he's dead unless someone sees it happen. It's stupid. That's my opinion and I would never let my child do that. Opinions vary

At 1:35 that’s a 13’ Boston Wahler w/Yamaha 30-40hp. Absolutely venue out in it. It’s unsinkable even with 5 aboard.

1980 Boston Whaler skiff, 13 Sport. Probably a Johnson engine, maybe Evinrude, 30 h.p. My brother & I had one, given to us by our grandfather in Barnegat Light. Took it through Barnegat Inlet in the early 80s *before* the jettys were built in the 90s despite grandfather telling us not to. We were insane lol.

Price Point issue at the boat dealer. Probably can't even plane with more than one person in it.
If you put any bigger motor on it, you risk ripping the transom off.. It's a Bayliner...
Hilarious to see some of these 10-15 ft boats out navigate the larger multi outboard boats.

Ive got aussie quintrex top ender with a blade hull which runs great in rough chop and swell but those boston whalers are another beast ,magnificent to watch u guys have nailed that boat pleasure to watch

It’s illegal to wear a life jacket in the state of Florida. Only reason I can think of for not a single person ever wearing one. 😂
Put jackets on the kids at least! It is insane to have kids out there with no life jackets. You see adults struggle in that water when they fall off their jet skis. Imagine a small child in that water and possibly injured on top of that.

2:15 is a Whaler Sport 13, mid 70s to early 80s.
Certain captains just know how to properly finesse the wheel and direct the boat properly i.e. Blue Top legend ladies while others you just have to pray for and hope that one day they get it right.............
Yes, they should have life jackets, in Texas all children under 13 must wear a USCG life jacket. You would think it would a minimum for all states. Looks like the age in Florida is 6 years old.

Not once did that capt on the first boat turn around and check on passenger, she was having a hard time. Too much weight up front on the starcraft, actually looks overloaded, don't these drivers know how to load their boats, it seems always there's too many on the bow, pontoon capts do exactly the same. Kids on the Fountain, not lifejacets. One day there is going to be a tragedy either at Bocha, Haulover, Manesquin inlets, if there hasn't already. Life jackets should be compulsory off shore. 🇦🇺 vanquish oh to have some $$$$$$😲
