“Monkeys in the first level cannot be knocked out with a baseball bat just like that but have to be lured with a bowl of food first.” Taken out of context people could very much misunderstand that. 😂 I haven’t played a single game on this list & that’s great! That’s what you made these lists for, thank you. If I’m honest I’m using my real Amiga 600 less & less in favour of my Amiga mini as it’s just a lot more convenient to download a game, stick it on a flash drive I keep for Amiga games & play it straight off the drive.
Dang it, it could be take out of context... Oh, well, whatever, let's take that risk and see what people come out with. If anything, that is. ;) Oh, I totally get that. I have an A500 and it sits comfortably in the box. For one, I have nothing (display) to connect it to. For two, the amount of disks that could still be considered in working condition in my collection seems to be getting lower and lower with each day. Not to mention I question the amount of reads left in my Amiga's disk drive. And lastly, it's just more convenient to emulate. I've been a long subscriber to the notion that today, the best Amiga is a PC.
@OldAndNewVideoGames. Thankyou for that also. It's great when you connect with other like-minded people/channels. Hopefully, we can get inspiration from each other. 👍 Our community is awesome..
@@TheRetroGamePlanet Well, if we can't count on helping each other out, noone will. :) Tell me, how do you fare with those NES/SNES videos? Did you get any copyright strikes for them yet? Did Nintendo said anything yet? They've been bothering many channels in the recent few years for virtually nothing other than playing their older games, and that's why I was fearful of touching Big N's systems on my channel...
@@OldAndNewVideoGames I have not had any issues as yet, but I have been a bit more cautious with it as I had heard the same. Maybe I'm not big enough yet for them to bother!
@@TheRetroGamePlanet Well, we're clearly not the size to have them fear us, but I do fear them. And I think I'd rather steer away from N content. Cause when they strike, it will be painful. ;)
The main character in Ghost Battle is doing the most impressive ballet jump I've seen in an action platformer. :) Oh, and there is at least one more climbing game out there. Extreme Rock Climbing by the (in)famous Head Games. :D It's where that "practice mode" sound bite comes from. You might have heard it around UA-cam before.
Backstage would be most appealing to me... I even know some German, I studied it (quarter-assedly) in the second degree, and have since learned some TV German from the various crime series.
@@OldAndNewVideoGames From watching Galactic Warrios Rats I expected something like Rock'n'Roll( controlling the character by mouse, ) but it's more like Into the Eagle's Nest( controlling the character by joystick. )

@@federicocatelli8785 I know about that, but making game for retro platform is more a sport or a hobbie today rather than in the late 90's where old computers (Amiga actually) were seen like outdated and good to be forgotten.
@@sebastientoccupe5704 Technically speaking by 1996 it was already 2 years gone. But in hands of its faithful users it carried on quite a bit longer, and some still make software for it even today.
I've grabbed the code, thank you for that, but my wallet is still 0 euros even though it says that it worked successfully. Is that normal (i don't know much about steam) ? I live in France EDIT : it's a free game. Thank you very much !

Mission accomplished😅 I've never heard of them before
Noice! :) Especially that someone just mentioned that neither were particularly unknown.
Galactic Warrior Rats looks pretty interesting, like the style of it.
I like your avatar, clearly a man who knows his best games! :)
I seem to remember Blobz, which was a cool little game but plenty of games there I had not seen. Subscribed by the way, liking these videos! 👍

I have been playing Catch ‘em lately. Really enjoy it.
Sometimes it's the games we least expect that are the ones we have most fun playing.
The only ones I played are Catch 'Em and Amy Putt Classics.
It's a success then, I suppose. :)
I played lords of doom dos version on my 386 and i love it 😁😁
It's a good game :)

Yeah, the only entirely German game that I can play with ease is Vermeer.
Only knew of Bonzai. Will try to get ahold of Chamonix Challenge and Galactic Warrior Rats.
I'm glad that you've found something to play among these :)

It even had a data disk with a lot of new courses.
The fella in Ghost Battle is throwing axes, not rocks :P

Blobz was actually the only one that required the AGA chipset (A1200/4000 and CD32 had it).
@@OldAndNewVideoGames yes but even if it was developed for the A1200, in 1996 Amiga was already almost dead, right ?
Small indie productions...you'll surprised we have new games made for c64 and cpc
