I love when she tells stories about her childhood,it explains how someone so talented and famous can be so down to earth.She's a wonderful woman.

I've always loved Dolly Parton. I remember when she started with Porter Waggoner. She advertised Breeze detergent. Breeze had a towel inside. Awesome!!
11 siblings. Dolly said, "With all those children, we really put momma on a pedestal. But, that was mainly to keep her away from daddy.".

I grew up similar tou Dolly,and also couldn't afford dolls for all,just oldest sister got one. But we too had a new baby brother,and somehow we all rocked him and daddy made, and mother another bright Christmas.The year was 1950,big ,big snow!
God Bless you ,and we treasure our past .Even the very young found Johnny C show funny,bleep,bleep at times,but not like now.

Amazing, just amazing. She has never lost herself in all the fame, not once! I would love to think I would be like this. I always think if I win the lottery, all I want is to Open a "Homeless Shelter" that shows the government how it's done (LOL), and convince my kids, Grandkids, and their friends, to go Rv'ing/camping around Fl with me. Hit Drive-in's, Flea market's, Bud's Chicken, Russo's Sub's, ect.
