Audrey Meadows was the Perrrfect Alice Cramden. She had that "What the f*** are you talking about" and "You better start making sense and you better start making damn sense very, very soon" looks. Art Carney, with his lanky thin body was the perfect Ed Norton too.
I remember watching the Jackie Gleason show with my parents in the 60s. Joe the bartender and crazy Guggenheim, Frank Fontaine. Along with the wonderful Honeymooners.
A all time ⌚ classic, Thanks for the 😂 laughs and great entertainment. I can't believe I saw Ed doing commercials a few years ago it looked like he finally aged.
My Uncle John was a big fan of Jackie Gleason and The Honeymooners when he was a little kid and he got me in to the show. Everytime I think of The Honeymooners I think of Uncle John who passed away. Both of them are never forgotten. How sweet it is!
Even in the first sketch, Gleason’s debt to Laurel & Hardy was evident (and without Norton, everybody’s favorite mental case!) It only took Carney’s perfecting of Ed to make that pairing of those 2 “The Great Ones”!
I absolutely love this show but at 2:28 i noticed something ive never seen before and it bothers me, when ralph was winding up for his " punch ". Alice flinched! Ive never seen her flinch because she KNEW Ralph would never hit her, a small thing but .....
Regarding the episode where Ralph thought he had only six months to live, when he was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in 1987, his doctors gave him that long to live. I don't think he even lasted six weeks after that diagnosis.
They were the greatest.👍🏾💞
They were the greatest!
Best show ever
I agree!!

This was amazing! I loved every minute! Thank you so much! 👏🥰🤣
@5:40 was that the pilot episode cause Alice don't look like Audrey Meadows
My favorite is ralph kept say im the king your nothing.
Then alice said big deal your the king of nothing
I love the one where Jackie Gleason sleep in the kitchen
Anyone else notice that during station breaks there's like 15 minutes of commercials ?
Jackie Gleason ❤❤❤❤
This show was and still is...GREAT❤
Love it ❤️ always since a little child😂😂
Me too!
♥️
One of these days Alice!!! Pow!!! Right in the kisser!!!!

Despite what Ralph said about Norton being a mental case, Norton was more scatterbrained and goofy than anything else, IMO.
Bang! Zoom!!!!
You're going to the moon

more of a staged reaction, rather than an unintentional flinch if that's what you meant
Denis Franz said boom boom instead of bang zoom.
Then he went on to tell us what we already knew
Funny shows
😃❤
