- I know many of you are waiting for my movie, and it will still be a while as you can see I'm still playing the game, but I wanted to upload a short video showing off the improved parkour in ACU. This is easily my favorite gameplay improvement. I also particularly love the city and the graphics.

Damn, the graphic is so good for a game released on 2014.
Honestly, this is better graphics than many games that have released since. It basically pushed the graphics too far so it ran bad in 2014 and they had to dial the technology back for the games that came after it.

I am playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood on 2020... I say the Parkour is really different, especially on Syndicate. Is it because I'm used to the parkour of Brotherhood?
When Ezio does that, he will be definitely take out about 5 health square.

I play God of War in which he has godly strength, Spiderman or any other superhero game ever existed is unrealistic. There are pieces of eden in this game that holds great power and I don't go around complaining it's unrealistic cause it's just a game XD.

Everyone is hating this game because of storyline, glitches and frame rate. And some people say that its unrealistic. For them. This is a video game. Video games are never meant to be realistic. RDR 2 was a game based on real life. But AC games are not for that shit. And they are getting pissed off at arno flying when he jumps on another thing in the air. I think the parkour is smooth asf. And combat is hard. Which should be like it in real life too.(Same goes with AC syndicate),

Man this game in HDR would be beautiful (although you wouldn't need a Pro for that)
The game's 900p resolution however would likely prevent it from getting 4K support, so it would only be 1080p, and likely wouldn't have any major graphical improvements on the Pro either, but 1080p would still look nice compared to how it looks here, and the frame rate would be more stable in a lot of places, although maybe still not all since frame rates can only be improved by about 30% max on the Pro in most cases, so for example in places it drops to 20fps, it would only boost to 26fps or so.
Resolution and pixels doesn't matter for me because I have never played this game in my life... I just want to play it on ps4 pro when I will get it cause I don't have a ps4. And yeah this is gonna be beautiful and also they can't do 4k with this game, not with the specs ps4 pro has all I want is to play this beautiful game ❤❤❤
Oh well PS4 pro will play every PS4 game, but they won't all be upgraded. Do you have a 4KTV? If you don't, there's not much of a benefit in the Pro over the regular PS4. Like I said aside from resolution, the hardware only allows for about a 30% improvement in either graphics or frame rate at most. With a 4KTV (assuming you have a big enough set for your viewing distance) the improvement over regular PS4 is really impressive, but without one it's minimal at best.
That's good.. I don't have a 4k TV but I don't think that will stop me from buying it...

Parkour in Assassin's Creed is all about impetus. It's about the player's decision to move and to do it quickly, efficiently, and totally fucking awesomely. The problem with the latter games is that they take this impetus away from the player, and make it coded. There is very little input on the part of the player; I suppose this would make things prettier and smoother, but are we watching a movie or playing a video game?
CaL EhL I disagree. The parkour systems have always expected the player to have made their choices before they reach their obstacles. It's a system that relies on a level of predictive AI by design, meaning player input must be selected some time before the action is taken, and Unity embraces that by the fact that if you have the information you need ahead of time about the player's movements, you can create very realistic animations for that movement.
Andy Gilleand I fail to see how movement away from an improvisational style that doesn't require the player to "think out" his or her route beforehand is a good thing. AC 1 and 2 and maybe even Brotherhood and Revelations understood that it wasn't the destination you fretted over, but how you would make it there. It's the journey that's fascinating, not the cold, physics and programming lesson you seem to be recommending. An eagle is free. Not bound to lines of code or strict animation.
In Assassin's Creed, parkour is more of a method of travel than anything. Does anybody ask for more direct control of running? As it's simply a method of travel, it should as instinctual as walking and running is in games. Obviously you need a slight bit more control, for 3D control to tell it whether you want to go up or down, but beyond that, everything should feel like a natural extension of the direction you're telling the game to go.
As for the predictive nature of the parkour engine, all I'm saying is you want to get those controls ready ahead of time. Same as if you're playing a driving game, and you see a corner coming up, you want to start pressing the brake and turn before you actually get to the corner so that the controls work with the existing momentum you've already got going. This game simply works with the fact that predictive AI works better for making parkour feel natural and takes that to a new level by taking advantage of that extra time it has in order to implement smoother and more natural looking animations.

It only took 5-7 years for other people to realize this is a good game. AC wasn't very well received at the time due to the series becoming repetitive but this one stands the test of time

No assasin's creed 1,2,brotherhood,revelations,3,4 are the best parkour in the game so far unity and syndicates parkour is unrealistic i don't know for rouge tho.

You kidding me? The parkour in Unity and Syndicate is much more realistic. Arno and Jacob/Evie use moves that utilise their environment. Which is what you need to do in parkour.

Idc what you guys say, ive played all of them and this is my favorite too. None of the other ones had the amount of customization and complete badassery as this game. The freerunning and stealth was a little janky and the story wasnt amazing but i feel like if they fixed it a bit, it would be one of the best games in the franchise.

+wing nn Parkour is finding the most direct way to get from point A to point B. Free running uses many of the same techniques but doesn't really have a goal like parkour.

When I saw the other movies people made. They put all the contents thats usually in the game, in the movie. Like the character's HP bar, the map, and subtitles that not even nessassary for a movie. PLZ :( dont make your movie new upcoming movies like theirs. keep up how u made your first movies, by making it like a real movie without the unnessassary details put to it.

I feel like in the previous games, the stunts feel more like an assassin. In this game it looks like a cat running on roofs, very boring.
Unity was a very bad game to me
+InfinityBlade2 it was good in the sense that it brought many ideas that help the gameplay. It also brought more customisation than the previous games but the problem is that unity was to glitchy and that ruined the 'realistic' part of the game

Do people really give a shit about frame rate and graphics? For one: the graphics are incredible. The kind of graphics I've always wanted out of an AC game. And second: does frame rate really, honestly matter to people? I've played some games with frame rate that's low as 10fps and it didn't matter. Aside from the glitches when the game came out, it runs so smoothly. It's just a great game and people need to lower they're expectations and enjoy it for what a truly great game it is.
+crazylegomanboy When it drops to about 20fps it can hurt the experience. Not only is is jerky to watch, but at frame rates that low, it does making playing the game more frustrating, as you don't get a quick enough response time on the controls.

Wish they would maybe add just a bit more flair to the big jumps, like maybe some front flips or some spins every now and again to change it up and make it look even cooler.
