i take it that you are saying that we have a coaching problem !!! When last can you select a player who has improved after joining the west indies team ? our players have problems playing conventional shots and we are teaching them to play the "GET OUT NOW SHOT !" we have taught our bowlers to bowl middle and off stump with good length, and game day we are asking them to bowl WIDE of off stump ! the commentary team is disappointing to say the least..I heard one of them say that our batsmen MIS EXECUTED !! he also describes a slower delivery as pace off !!! Others have started following...sad..so sad...t One Person wants to coach, select the team, strategize and set fields...the captain now seems to be just a figure head !
Hope is best suited for the subcontinent as Brandon is notoriously weak against spin in the early overs. The problem Brandon is our best opener next to Evin and Hope can play spin in the middle overs. Chase was picked for his ability to play spin and he is the 6th bowler. But his batting is not doing well right now. Our top 6 batters are Evin Brandon Pooran Hope Rutherford Powell Hetmyer and Chase are not batting well. Our best bowlers are Hosein Motie Alzarri And thats it. McCoy is not firing.
Evin Lewis in the CPL was caught 6 out of 10 times in the offside with short balls outside the offstump. He continues to pull and play down the wrong line. His solution is to go hard when the solution is to get closer to the ball or to start playing the square cut or even the uppercut.
@@anothermassivehitHe started as a great cutter but thats when you don't play red ball cricket. T20 destroys your game because of the limited shot selection. T20 is about 6 hitting Over long on Long off The inside out over extra cover The hook over fine leg The pull through midwicket Then the ugly shots the flat over long on. The following shots are gone The cover and extra cover drive The on drive The square cut The late cut The straight drive Opening the face and running the ball to 3rd man The glance down to fine leg The on drive through midwicket All these shots are along the ground and is what makes the sport beautiful to watch. Its what made Lara and Lawrence Rowe look so beautiful and Gordon Greenidge looked so technical. Its what made Hooper look so elegant. I like t20 but its about power not beauty not art.
Analysis on point. Hopefully we can get it right.
We must be deliberate

@@RaymondButler-h4x again, top stuff. He really needs to start playing that upper cut.

Idk why they picked Terrance Hinds with so many other pacers.
Who are the pacers on your radar?
