Congrats on the new equipment Andre! I hope it makes your video work pop even more. Thanks Jeff for highlighting Veronica at work. For some reason, I wasn't sure if she worked with Lido TOURS. We'll be in touch!
Pleasure to be of service 🙏 Thank you and have fun in Madeira !! 🤠 Ps, don’t forget to book one of our tours ;) before they sell out !! 🤠 Have a great week !!
Thanks Jeff & André ☺ You're hair's better than mine Jeff & golden showers or golden visas?! Lol! 🤣 André I can't wait to see your future videos using the FX3 as I've predominantly used Sony since 2008 with the A700 being my first DSLR, but I'm currently using a A7iii, & it was great to see you in front of the camera for a change too! Jeff I hope you & Elisa are having a wonderful time away & you deserve it! Have a truly beautiful week my friends 🤗
Hey, Jeff couldn't find any videos on your channel with suggestions on riding, parking, where to leave your bike during night if you planning on riding a motorbike in Madeira? Thanks.
Hey! Sorry bud I’m not into bikes, so I wouldn’t have the slightest idea… better you speak to Steve from one of my videos I made back in 2020 about renting a bike, he’ll know more than me ;))
YEAH! I'm in Madeira!😅. Very bad weather today... I came in, and god said, let's welcome the proper Madeiran way! 😂. Big storm! All day was spent inside the hotel. I'm just joking. I know fully well how Madeiran weather can be, but never been during a storm like this. In 2019, it was about to hit one in March but ended up being nothing too serious. Yesterday (5th of June) i still went out driving around. Went to Machico while raining. Then try to force it a little bit, and went to Caniço, but by then it was too much for me, I wasn't men enough to proceed with the Fiat Panda that i have from the rent-a-car. Today I didn't risk going out, wasn't worth the risk. Just went walking as soon as the rain stopped. I think even for Madeirans it was a hard day, wasn't it? 😂. Your reply will be: this is nothing! Peanuts!😅
@@christinepotts6415 Porto de Moniz is worst i think 😅. I have been there 3x different times. It always rained 😂. But it doesn't bother them. They have that pool, it can be raining all day people still be taking baths 😅. They are already weat aren't they?😂
ja boet, hi Jeff, sou da Madeira mas vivo no UK e trabalho muito com pessoal da Africa do Sul.. nice people 👍🏼 going to Madeira in August, im a landscape photographer and i hope you can take me to some nice place, ill pay you a coffee 😉
Today I'm feeling good writing in English. I'm just lazy when I write comments on Jeff's channel😂. While I'm working all do is write in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. My apologies if I give you a hard time with my Portuguese written comments😅.
@@AFuriousCrab you this channel is run by a South African, don't you? He won't be too happy with your comments. European eat a lot of shit too, Americans. I have a lot of respect for African food, there are some things, you should try it, you can be surprised.
Jeff can you make a video about why Madeirans and Azorians hate each other so much? 😂😂. I'm Portuguese and I can't understand that love-hate relationship between our islander's compatriots. There is enough room for all to love each other, don't we?! 😅. I just think Madeira and Azores are one of the two pretties places in Portugal. I'm fully aware when I come to Madeira I can't just say that some Azore's things are better than Madeiran ones 😂. You should have put that on one of your previous videos. 😂. It's a terrible idea to say Azorian's Pineapple is better for example 😂. There are a lot of similarities between Madeira and Azores, but you can't say that openly. The accent, some people mix the two when recognizing it. Madeirans don't like for you to ask if they are Azorians. They don't like it! Madeirans are very proud of being Madeirans (as they should be). For an average Portuguese, most people can't tell the differences. Madeira and Azores are poorly represented in continental Portugal like most other regions to be honest (apart from Lisbon and Porto, for the State, the rest doesn't exist). The best thing we did was give them autonomy. Madeira and Azores only appear in the news when something bad happens. A storm, somebody was killed, drugs so on and so on. Azores did that Netflix series, all I have been hearing is criticisms, I was actually very proud of them for putting out a series.
@@teodoro1007 My brother was there in Cold Play's concert, he was one more to help fill up Coimbra further more 😅. To be honest I don't know Coimbra at all. I'm from Lisbon. The closest i have been to Coimbra was in 2021, in Figueira da Foz, it was my first vacation with covid still very active. I didn't use that opportunity to visit Coimbra. So, i still don't know Coimbra 😅, I have been 3x times as a grown up (+1 as child) in Madeira, but never visited Coimbra as grown up😂. I haven't still been to lots of places in Portugal... The most outrageous is that i never been to Porto... I have been in Braga, Gerês. Porto i saw the stadium from the highway and kept on driving...😂
Hey Andre! I wouldn’t go too far in saying such things, I’m a positive person so I prefer to see the world that way, and of course project it that way too. Where isn’t there some rivalry? Between brothers, between neighbours, between states within small towns? I prefer not to think of it that way and I agree their pineapple is better but do they have espetada? 😂
@@Hittheroadmadeira 😂😂. Não têm espetada(eu finalmente experimentei a espetada, mas comi num café/restaurante e senti que ha certamente melhores sitios para se comer a espetada). So, I brought beach shorts and an umbrella as well. Forgot to bring the BOOTS! 🤣As you always say, be prepared... I have 5 pairs of Merrel boots, I was not expecting to get my feet all wet as they did yesterday 😅
Another top class effort, Jeff! Can only imagine how busy it gets in summer. Look forward to my short mini break during the "off" season!
