It would be nice to see it in place at the house.
Agreed. Seeing the placement under existing deck boards would be sweet.
You can see it at 30:42 in the house compilation video. ua-cam.com/video/-okhGGeOYs4/v-deo.html
I would like to see the customers face when you present such a beautiful gift.
You're allowed to take days off Shoyan, it's Sunday. You inspire me
I believe that Log Home Builders here in the US call it a Slick.
I think if you add a little handle on the upper piece, you have a perfect artistic toilet. Like, one too perfect to step on, sitting would be ok though!
Beautiful use of natures gifts.
Beautiful job, I'm sure your customer will be very happy to receive it!
He did it for free
The careful planning and attention to detail in your work has helped me improve my work also. Thank you
This is beautiful, It is a pity you did not show it installed. Or will this be a future video?
Let the wood speak to you? Wonderful work! Well done! 木があなたに話してみましょうか? 素晴らしい作品です! 素晴らしい!
That is one big lump off tree trunk grain and colours are amazing to good to be used as a step. But once in place it will be the talking of the yard.😀👍👍👍
Nicely carved out of that crotch wood piece of that tree. It would be great to see it installed in it final location.
Love you. Good job ❤
Wonderful! Dōmo arigatōgozaimasu!
you are full of good ideas!!!
As always such beautiful workmanship. The oil brought the woods character out for all to see. Thank you for sharing this beautiful work.
That's a genius idea!! Badass work!!!
Thanks again Shoyan, always fun to watch your work!!
Outstanding!
Amazing and beautiful. Such a wonderful craftsman.
Excellent craftsmanship - it turned out beautifully. The wood grain is stunning.
This two-step wooden step will handle even the heaviest of men for hundreds of year.
Simple and beautiful!👍
Thank you for another great video, I hope we can see it installed.
It's so satisfying to watch your work from beginning to finish! Truly skillful crafting!

How do you call this step in Japanese!?
Beautiful work!
very beautiful, I would love to see how it looks on site at the home
Very very nice work as always 👌👍💯
I think there is way more value in a rustic aesthetic, over the much finer joinery I've seen you do. Rustic (for me) is more beautiful than a precisely carved dove tail. For example.
I'm glad the steps owners went for that style. (again, just my opinion)
beautiful work!
Thanks a lot, my man. I like your style!
love it
It's a gem,!! what a wonderful job, congrats carpenter san !!!👍💪💪
I was wondering what you were going to do with that tree, nice 👍
What type of oil finish did you use ?
Very nice ❤❤❤
Lovely job
Wonderful work, the wood is very nice.
Tell you what awesome skills
Another good job....very cool ( from a fellow carpenter) !
Please show the home installation, thank you
Wow, it is a stunningly beautiful step & cleverly conceived & produced by a Master Craftsman. I should last for many, many years. It has always impressed me how unbelievably sharp Japanese craftsmen seem to be able to to get their woodworking tools. I like working with my equipment sharp but I can NEVER match Japanese craftsmen & I am also fascinated by the planes used by Japanese carpenters, you pull the plane towards you where we Western people bust our gut pushing a plane. Great video again my friend, Don from South Aust.
👍👍👍👍
Merci pour le partage !
robisz w niedzielę? Niedobrze.!
Would have loved to see it in its final position. :)
Good job, Shoyan-san!

Watching this channel is so satisfying!
Does anyone know what oil they are using?
Beautiful work.
The figured wood between the two trunks would have made a very nice guitar top, but i don't know if zelkova makes a good sounding instrument.
The "thrust chisel" is more commonly known as a "slick".
In the West
@@philibeansor5843 is there a country that speaks English that isn't considered West?
@@alejandrohuerta988 India
Not in Japan. That's why he called it a thrust chisel. Oh and the fact it was created in the Middle East in Babylon kind of gives them the right to call them what they prefer.
Love your step, beautiful, may I ask what Oil do you use?? or is that a secret lol..
Complete thing
很想看到安置定位的效果!
Did you oil the bottom of the step to protect it from moisture?
🇧🇷
❤️🇺🇸👍
What oil do you use?
It is beautiful but how do you use a "step"?
@@ShoyanJapaneseCarpenter. My apologies, I don't have instagram or facebook, no social media. Thank you
Could this be a shoe
Looks like a wooden toilet!
Can someone please explain to me, whats going on after 14:45? Are the innuendos intentional, or is it a result of translation? My dirty mind needs to know
Looks like my toilet
Looks like an elongated toilet LOL.
