    thanks you so much for this vid.I put the terminator x on my blow through setup and tried firing it up.It wouldnt start.I found your vid today and watched you go through every step exactly the same as I did.At the end im thinking if your car starts im totally lost.You car didnt start and acted the exact same way as mine.It did the same thing mine did when I tried to start it.You came back and said the red wire for the fuel pump system needed power.I hooked it up and mine fired right up.When it wouldnt start I had absolutely no idea why.YOu saved my sanity by coming back and explaining why yours wouldnt start so thank you so much for this vid it saved me countless hours maybe days trying to find the answer to this....thanks again

      I really glad that helped you. I thought if I wasn’t using fuel injectors I wouldn’t need it and no where does it explain that wire also powers the coils but it does and definitely needs to be connected. Glad you were able to figure it out too

    So glad I found this video. I have been tossing up to get a stand alone dash but the price of them it's worth just buying a terminator ! I'm running a blown meth carb setup. This video just made my decision for me

    Nice job on the wiring ! Looks nice and tidy!! My next project hopefully comes out half decent lol
    Hell man your a click away from fuel injection now! New intake and some injectors etc.. I would love to go injection for the simple fact of switch back and forth to e85 not much of it where I live
    Thanks for the video love seeing and learning new things!!

    So are the logs that include your TPS sensor, called "TPS Reports" haha (Reference might be before your time...)

    Man I did the same with my install the other day. I had to rig up my fuel pump tho because my tank has a pin hole in it and won't hold fuel. So after all that I went to start and it just called but no sign of fuel or spark. Looked over the power wires, grounded wires, injectors connection, and nothing. I gave up and went inside at eleven at night and went back after I was showered and in bed after setting up my own file on the laptop, still nothing. Went through wiring inside the car and wouldn't you know, a small ground wire that I fed through never got connected and fired up first try around 1am🤣

    where did you get the tps kit for that carb and did you have rescale the values or is it just 0-5 volts still

    Do you know of a TPS sensor that will work with a Dominator style carb

    What sensor or sensor kit did you go with as well how did you disengage the fueling aspect of the holley I’m literally doing the same thing??

      You just don’t plug in the fuel injector harness. You don’t have to turn anything off in the tune.

    What tps sensor and bracket did you go with? Thinking about running this setup instead of the MSD on my turbo 5.3.

      Why not run the terminator x stealth for lsx?

    Is this just to control boost and timing since you still have a carb?

    • @RobbyVsGarage
      @RobbyVsGarage  3 роки тому +2

      Yes. Boost control, better timing adjustment, 2step and other benefits and the option to go efi

      @@RobbyVsGarage nice! I watched every one of your s10 videos, I have a 92 I plan on ls swapping. 5.3 truck motor. 0robably go n.a 11:1 possibly. But i like the simplicity of your turbo setup, curious to see how hot your intake temp is with no intercooler, maybe you wont need one. How much boost are you running? I'd say 10-12 is safe with stock block. I've seen 15 but it didnt last.

    What fuel pressure sensor and tps you use ?

  • @smokinboostedduece1170
    @smokinboostedduece1170 3 роки тому

    On the teminator can you just run the coils,cam and crank with it.I have a blow though and im just basically wanting to monitor map for boost and o2 part of the terminator.Is this possible or do you need the tps and fuel sensor like you made.All im wanting is something to replace the msd 6014 since is limited on boost with the built in 2.5 map..thank you

    • @RobbyVsGarage
      @RobbyVsGarage  3 роки тому

      Yes it’s possible. You’ll have to have a tps sensor for initial setup then I think you can unplug it. I recommend just installing one like mine because you can use it to trigger or deactivate certain outputs. But yes it is possible

    were you able to retard the timing on your blow though with terminator.My kpa without start on map is 92 and when started it is at 45kpa.Im using the holley 3 bar map and I cant tell if its retarding the timing or not.I tried putting some air pressure to the map and watch timing but doest seem to work.Also my timing even when i set it at 34 degrees at idle kind of locks out at 28 when I rev it.I dont know if you have had any of these issues but if you have please let me know how you solved it.

    • @RobbyVsGarage

      I haven’t had any of those issues. You should called Holley and speak to them to see what they think.
