Awesome setup man very nice. I'm getting ready to do the same thing with my f-body going to shoot for more cubic inch and it's going to be twin turbo as well. The evaporative cooling of the old school carburetor definitely saves on the burned up engine parts I don't want to Jack around with the sensors and all of the crap that comes along with EFI keep the information coming man I'm a fan for sure
Carb is better than efi, no sensors to go bad, sensors go out before any real mechanical issues happen, I have a 5.3 carb dual plane, no issues no check engine light, my afr guage tellme exactly whats going on with the engine, nice setup by the way!!!
I'm using a translator, sorry. blowing through carbs is not necessary to use an intercooler, least of all when you use e85. Haven't you used the 2 steep to push off the starting line?
Correct you don't have to use a intercooler with a blow thru setup, but the intercooler does help. I've ran this setup with and without the intercooler. Yes I use a 2 step at 4400rpm to build boost on the line. 1.16 60ft best so far.
I’m building a blow thru ethanol carb for my twin turbo LS top dragster. Would you car to share information on metering block, booster, and jetting? I have never been north of 650hp on e85 with a blow through. I have some knowledge but 13-1400hp is new territory
@GreasemonkeyV8 Budget setup. 8.5 10bolt out of a mid 70s camaro. Moser axles and spool. I think they are 33 spline. Honestly can't remember. Custom torque arm mount and arm I built 15 plus years ago. Been 1.16 60ft on radials. But it doesn't live long at that level. On slicks mid 1.2s its held up very well.
I was running the aeromotive A3000 for years. Just switched to the new Aeromotive 7.0 brushless. I only run Aeromotive pumps they have the best service.
I don't know that's a carb issuse. I've had 3 different carbs 2 way wrong and all made boost. I would think large boost leak on hot or cold side. Other wise timing too low or air fuel way off lean or rich.

Knowledge is key! Gotta Learn it 👍👍
Got one of his 850cfm carburetor blow-thru on my 427ci SBC procharged 1000hp-1100hp.

He uses boost reference power value.

IMO you would save alot of time and headache calling CSU and having a carb built.
I heard you got a csu carburetor from Kevin.
What intake is that?
Super Victor. I did have to mill about .150 off the carb flange for carb hat to hood clearance.
Any overheating issues with the blow though?
None at all. Runs cooler with the e85 . On a 90 degree day it runs around 195 on the street. I'm sure it would run cooler with a bigger fan.
What trans are you running?
@GreasemonkeyV8 Th350. Honestly has to be one of the fastest cars with a th350.lol
@@DIYracing454 what all you have for rear end? basic or big money stuff. I'm building a similar car

@ gotcha. Awesome job, sounds good
Get in touch with Kevin @ CSU.
I have, That's who's carb it is. They work well and Kevin is very knowledgeable.
What pump and regulator

4500 series holley
I would love to pick your brain on a few things , can't get mine combo to make any boost at all , donyou have an email I reach you on,thanks

Csu out of California (Kevin).
Kevin at CSU is arrogant and a crook, just sayin
@supercharged6771 Damn, Not sure what happened with your experience. He has always treated me right.
