Excellent job Tim! Now that you understand that the "casting stroke" is really just an extension/follow through of the Sweep, you've got a much smoother looking cast. Great stuff as usual. One thing I've been thinking and observing on my practice session is that motion can come from gravity, the caster, and from external things (like wind), and also from the inertia created by both things. This strikes me as being a fact that much of the "continuous motion" discussion can miss. I agree we should not stop abruptly and then fire off a forward stroke, but I do think that motion is more dynamic than we give it credit for and continuous motion has to be dynamic to all those variables. That tends to be where softer things like tempo and style get at the composite of factors better than a more robotic approach. I don't know if this makes sense, forgive me if I am full of shit.

Perhaps invest in a decent mic to attache to your jacket or something. Then the sound would be so much better. Many good mics out there that takes away the wind noices an further on. Can't say just one mic but they are out there.
