sisters take hawai'i🌺🌊🐓

we’ve been planning this trip for a few years now & already had our trip booked earlier this year until the lockdown took place & everything was put on hold. when we were notified from the mayor that hawai'i was back open and we were allowed to come home (by taking 2 covid tests, 24 hours before departure & immediately when landing, everyone in our group tested negative and followed all travel guidelines and protocol. we were not required to quarantine.) we then changed our travel dates accordingly. this wasn't just a “vacation.” respectfully, this was a really meaningful trip to eldon & i, because after 5 years of our extremely close friendship, we finally got to bring our best friends (more like family - jesus, laura , victor, james) HOME.🖤 it was so surreal being able to show them where eldon & i were born at kealakekua hospital, to the houses we grew up in & experience our cultures, our 'OHANA😭, our ono food, our beaches & secret spots, our HAWAI'I. thank you to everyone that came out to see us, spend time with us & shared so so so much love & ALOHA. that's what HAWAI'I is about. i'm already homesick. there's truly no place like home😭💕 stay tuned for part 2! 💜
