La Taqueria in San Francisco probably the most famous of local places. But my favorite burrito in the city is El Burrito Express on Taraval and 26th. Delish!
I’ve had burritos in Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Denver and here in Salt Lake. The best burrito is the smothered chile verde burrito with cheese and onions. No rice. No beans. And the hot sauce at La Puente or La Frontera. The best.
They managed to limit themselves to only one place in New York this time. The same number of times they mentioned anywhere in the entire southwest (and even that one was shared with Colorado), in a list of best burritos.
I’ve had burritos in Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Denver and here in Salt Lake. The best burrito is the smothered chile verde burrito (pork) with cheese and onions. You get a lot of big chunks of pork, too. No rice. No beans. You can get rice and beans on the side of the plate if you want that. And the hot sauce at La Puente or La Frontera (salsa). They cook the tortilla, too. The best burrito. And it is obvious the restaurants are operated by a family from Mexico in case your concerned about authenticity.
My favorite burrito is from MI Taquito on the Esplanade in Chico, California! Their BURRITOS ARE K-I-L-L-E-R!!!!! The Beef Tongue Burrito is MUY BUENO!! ALL of their BURRITOS and other menu items are so doggone good I just want to slap myself!🤣🤣 They also have a new restaurant on 9th and Cherry (in Chico) named J's Tacos! I've tried the rest but only eat da BEST which is at Mi Taquito and J's Tacos!! Rock On! ❤👍☝😋
Mate, texmex is not great. The best is in SoCal, don't hate. New Mex has some OK stuff as well, but the further you get from the pacific, the worse it is :-p
I went to a burrito place in San Diego and it was probably one of the best burritos I’ve ever had! They were huge! Mine had shrimp in it. Forgot what the place was called but it was near Pacific Beach
@@audreyl5375 LOL, that will narrow it down to about thirty joints. haha, best part is they are all decent and you would be very unlucky if you picked a bad one.
Having lived in Tucson for twenty-seven years I consider myself an expert on burritos....I love them all!! That said, Juan's Flying Burrito claims to be "the most authentic Mexican food" but those jalapenos on top of their burrito obviously came out of a can. That is not authentic and makes me question the other ingredients in that burrito. If you want REAL Mexican food go to La Posta de Mesilla in Mesilla, New Mexico. THAT is where heaven is on earth!
Yes! La Posta de Mesilla was the first place that came to mind when I saw the title lol. BEST Mexican food, they definitely need to expand. Their posole tastes exactlyyyy like how my grandma used to make them
SoCal native and pickled jalepeno's are authentic as fuck. At least for my family in TJ, Mexicali, SD, LA, etc... Any wet burrito is not authentic (at that point its just a large enchilada) by our standards and to be honest, I don't know of any places south of the border that do Burritos that aren't breakfast. Also fuck whomever accepted the money Chipotle offered to put them in this list.
Uh, if you want authentic Mexican food, go to Mexico. This is not Mexican food, please remember that. It may be delicious and filling, but Mexican it is not. We very much appreciate that our friends north of the border enjoy our food culture and would love for you to visit our country and try the many regional foods available in Mexico.
Where do you get your favorite burrito from?
The home of the Original SF Super Burrito. El Faro.
Pancho's in San Diego. Chili relleno burrito is incredible. Family owned. And does not believe rice has anything to do with a burrito.
@@MrTopcat3333 Well, they're belief is wrong. I'm sure they're perfectly fine with adding bland potatoes to their burritos though huh?
Chicago, hands down, and I live in NM now.
La Taqueria in San Francisco probably the most famous of local places. But my favorite burrito in the city is El Burrito Express on Taraval and 26th. Delish!
Omg that’s my dads favorite! Is the el burrito express

Best veggie burrito: Hands down from Papalote in San Francisco. Packed with carrot, potato, mushrooms, beans, rice, pico de gallo. Burrito heaven.
The best burritos can be found anywhere in San Diego County, CA. You really missed the mark on most all of these!
Thank you, fucking Chipotle... What the hell are they thinking.
I totally concur with this statement. Carne Asada burrito is the 5th food group in Dago.
Actually the best are in San Francisco.
@@Diego-rm3yt Nah man, not even close.
@@vaguedreams yea ok 😂
That looks so delicious 🤤🤤🤤

How are no places from Texas, Arizona, New Mexico or any border states (excluding CA) not even mentioned? 🤡🤡🤡
They needed to make room for the New York spots
Mate, texmex is not great. The best is in SoCal, don't hate. New Mex has some OK stuff as well, but the further you get from the pacific, the worse it is :-p
@@vaguedreams no hate for SoCal, but maybe it's just personal preference and experience
A burrito list without San Diego? What a fucking joke.
Some people just hate french fries in their burrito
I went to a burrito place in San Diego and it was probably one of the best burritos I’ve ever had! They were huge! Mine had shrimp in it. Forgot what the place was called but it was near Pacific Beach
@@johnbernstein7887 That's why they order something other than the California Burrito ;-)
@@audreyl5375 LOL, that will narrow it down to about thirty joints. haha, best part is they are all decent and you would be very unlucky if you picked a bad one.
@@johnbernstein7887 San Diego has an abundance of burritos other than the California Burrito.
El Tepayec. Simply the best. Also really big.
Here in So Cal, the world has no idea what burritos we have. Cali tacos in Orange County. And pretty much all the Mexican joints near the border
LA Burritos are good, but SF is better
@@Diego-rm3yt SF? I went to a place in san rafael and asked for a street taco....the staff had no idea what that was. LOL
@@perryjeff77 Well San Rafael isn't SF 💀 and we're talking about BURRITOS.
Burrito love ❤️
Just south of Fresno at the corner of Academy and HWY 180. There are 2 Trucks that park there. Best. Burritos. Ever!

Miguel's Jr.'s "Garbage Burrito" is pretty decent...👌😋
My favorite food
El Farolito in SF is way better. The portions are bigger & they’re cheaper than La Taqueria.
"The only time for BS that I have for in my life is Burritos and Salsa."-.Mitch Hedberg
You missed the Matt James at Burrito ville in Cape Girardeau Missouri. It's the best
The fact you completely left out the Manuel Special from El Tepeyac is a crime and an insult to the late Manuel
No mention of Southern CA Mexican food locations? The closer to the border the better the food.
Can't believe there wasn't anything around San Diego. Very misleading video lol.
Dude, it has Chipotle on it. The whole thing is Sus
That's not necessarily true. SoCal has some GREAT Mexican food, but if we're talking about BURRITOS, San Francisco is far superior.
You're list have all these places but not a single one in NEW MEXICO 💀
👍
This list is beyond trash. If you want a good Burrito San Diego is where it’s at period!
San Francisco is better
Freebirds
I KNOW you did not include Chipotle in this video 😭
No new mexico burritos?
The bestest best burritos? Just about any Mexican neighborhood "moma y papa" joint in Aztlan, of course.
not one mention about al pastor in this entire video
taco bell
What a total JOKE. San Francisco, Colorado, Wyoming, New York, North Carolina, ETC...WTF, How about Socal, Arizona, New Mexico, and obviously, TEXAS!
San Francisco is the only deserving one you named in the first part.
Am I the only human on Earth that absolutely hates guacamole?
Oakland California has the best burritos on the planet !!!!!!
You spelled San Francisco wrong.
Love and live in the Bay Area , but you guys are idiots. The best burritos are in San Diego. It makes no sense lmfao 🤣
chipotle, really? hard to take any burrito list with chipotle on it seriously.
is this list some sort of sick joke
they got chipotle on the list? nah go branch out and hit some family hole in the wall joints and give them some love smh
Too bad Cali is too much of unfriendly state

La Taqueria is so overrated omg
No rice. Not a real SF burrito
Come to Arizona for some real burritos not these fake things.
San Francisco burritos are much better
Now I want a burrito 🌯
