Hello, have you tried to turn on both lom and high beam together. Just curious is it possible and if yes what kind of switch can be used.
Hi Nikhil, I haven’t tried that yet. But yes we can turn both lights on for that we need two separate switches. I’m using 2 ways switch so I can only turn on either hight beam or low beam. But I don’t recommend that because light gets too hot on single beam. If we use both beams together it will over heat the lights and over load your battery.

@@amehaexplorers Thanks for the perfect video with the correct beam demo. Please tell us what is the maximum temp the Tripple shots reached on low and high beams and then together. Since you have the product you can test it well using a digital temperature meter.
Like stick the thermometer display somewhere on the dashboard using double tape and stick its temperature probe on top of the light with a bit of thermal paste. Keep the lights for some time to notice the max temp they get in a stationary position and then when the bike runs coz airflow will definitely keep things warm.
Also, note that the lights are made of solid AL blocks meant to dissipate heat. if they are getting hot then it means their cooling solution is working. Is there any fan behind the lights?
Hi Toshar, First of all thank you for your appreciation. I never tried to check the temperature of the lights but these lights get hot when bike is stationary (Not that much you can touch) because there is no internal cooling system (No fan only aluminum body) but if you are cruising at a good speed then wind helps to cool the lights down. I'll definitely make a temp video of the lights as soon as possible.
Very insightful. But seeing multiple videos i feel like the 2 shot is brighter. Can u please do a side by side compare of your bike fitted with the 3 shot and your friends bike with 2 shot if possible. Thanks in advance

You can't judge the light difference in 2 different videos because some are shooting videos with professional cameras and some are with basic cameras or mobile phones. Videos are the basic ideas only. The actual difference can only seen by your own eyes. I'll try to shoot the light difference only if I found one but I can't promise that because my friend is from Pune and I'm in Punjab. He visited me during his Kashmir ride.

Hi Udayy, No I don't feel any difference in the radiator fan speed. Mostly I use fog lights on Highways not in local traffic. If you are facing this issue its mainly of two reasons.
1. Your bike battery is of low power (Ah), may be you need more power for fog lights. Don't use lights in local (Low RPM).
2. Your battery is now getting old (More than 3-4 year old).

Hi Karan Dayal, dust and insects are not big deal for these lights. These are waterproof so you can easily wash them. Or if we are talking about rocks, I placed the light to the upper section of the leg guard so they are high enough from the rock. But hit by the big rock once on the the right side light but lights built quality is very good the aluminum body took the impact just the minor scratch but lens are safe.

Planning to buy dual shot due to budget constraints.
Both model has same light pattern (wide light pattern) Triple shot has 20-25% more intensity. But you will not disappoint with dual shot light. Go for it. I was also going for the dual shot. But purchase triple shot just to compare the light.

Ok its the same harness I used. Its very simple to connect. You can check my installation video for more understanding.
1. The red and black wire with terminals and fuse - Battery connection.
2. There are Black, Red and Green - For Fog Light. (Use Red wire with red wire of fog light. Black with Black and Green wire with yellow wire for fog light).
3. There are 2 yellow wires and one Blue - connect with the 2 way switch. ( Connect blue wire with the black wire of the switch ).
4. Now there is only one connection pending which is the single blue wire. Its the only tricky one. You have to fine the wire coming from the ignition switch of your bike so your fog light cuts off when you turn off your bike. If you have any Bajaj bike then check out my installation video I explained on Dominar but you will find the idea of it of the wire.

Hi Ankit, there will be size difference in both the batteries. Just check if there is a enough space to place a bigger battery.

Hi Ashish, these LEDs are more than enough for me. You can easily cruise 100+ even more than that if a rider is capable but I don’t suggest someone to do so. Maddog was way to expensive for me so I decided to buy HJG. Maddog alpha has both spot and flood beam combined. But in HJG there is only flood beam. You can adjust the light according to your personal preference not a big deal. But it will take time to find a good angle due to dual beam (hi and low beam).
I tried so many time to record in the night but Gopro’s quality is very bad in the night. But for a idea just check my video of “Anandpur Sahib”. I tried to capture some night shot in that video.

Hi Divyansh, both products has same light through, the triple shot has wide coverage and Y light has bit less wide coverage. But not that much. Light intensity is also the same. According to me its all about the personal preference of the design of the product.

These are both different lights in light through. The lights you are watching in video has hi-low beam But 4 dot don’t. 4 dot spread light like hi-low beam turned on together.

Hi Jawad, Both lights are very good. Triple LED is little bit more powerful than the Y shape. Y shape come in same power as dual shot. Y shape will not disappoint you either. You will find the difference in light pattern between the both light. Light pattern of triple shot is bit in the wider side and y shape has rounded patten. And design of the light is totally a personal choice. There is around Rs. 600 of price difference. Triple shot comes at Rs. 3400 and Y shaped at Rs. 2800. But confirm the latest price. Hope this will help you.
