I love how the final battle in between the Flash and Cobalt Blue doesn't involve their super speed, but rather, just punching each other like a couple of drunk guys at a bar.
Interesting how it also takes place in what's supposed to be Barry and Iris's apartment.
I mean they might actually be moving at super speed tbh
Of course the final battle would end in a pep talk, and there was no scene with Barry and reverse flash.

I think the cobalt crystal was like the philosopher's stone in season 3. That was created using hard speed force energy and since the cobalt crystal is showing Eddie things and speaking to him the same way, it's probably made of hard negative speed force energy. And just like Savitar was able to speak to Wally and the others through the philosopher's stone, the negative speed force speaks to eddie through the cobalt crystal.
Eddie can’t move on because if he does, Eobard Thawne will eventually be born.
Plot twist: What if the lineage has already started and either Eddie as Malcolm or Eddie had knocked a woman up before in the past and doesn't know.
The last one isn‘t an option because Eobard wouldn‘t have been erased from existence if Eddie already had had kids before shooting himself.

I preferred this. Thawne and Barry weren't fighting. Thawne was letting out his rage, and Barry was letting him vent. The slow, brawl-heavy nature of the fight felt personal.
I mean technically he'd be doing the same thing, just faster 🤷🏾♂️
I thought at 1:31 they were gonna pull a No Way Home and have Eddie slam Barry through to the next floor😂

always said so, Except I loved the cobalt blue origin and the general vibe of how lost Eddie was however the execution in the last episode is stupid and rushed.
Imagine if Eddie and Barry were brothers, that would make them being the avatar of the positive and negative speed force more epic

I've always thought of Barry and Eddie being like blood brothers.
It was just rushed. Putting all the villains in one episode and having all of them down after 10 minutes. They all were feared characters and loved by the fans. They should have either added more episodes or get rid of their red death episodes so that each of these enemies could have atleast one episode. That would atleast bring some struggle, all of their powers were boosted, it's just sad to see they are getting bet in a 1v1 by characters without speed and I thought the show was called "The Flash". Also the fact that instead of Reverse-Flash straight up killing, they made him talk and talk so he also got defeated by "suprise suprise" someone without speed.
It was the broadcaster's decision: Eric Wallace planned for a longer Season 9 and an additional Season 10.

@Tobs Onasanya how you ask? He literally used Naruto talk-no jutsu to stop Eddie, which is just the worst and most terrible writing. Also, what is to stop the negative speed force from just stripping Eddie of the powers and simply choosing a new avatar. Plot armor.
Can the negative speedforce strip Eddie from his position as an avatar? Eddie became the new avatar after Thawne died again so can the negative speedforce take the status from a living avatar? On the other side Barry had to convince Eddie to not belief the negative speedforce. If Eddie died the negative speedforce can just look for a new avatar like with Thawne and Eddie. Killing the negative speedforce is also not an option because they would just do the same as the negative speedforce. Barry convincing the current avatar to a truce seems like the only way to end the series. The only thing to discuss is how to bring Eddie to a truce but Barry going full power and punching the crap out of everyone to force them to a truce seems rather odd.
@@chara4422 agreed, Barry talking it out with Thawne was the only rational conclusion - which is the first time I've felt comfortable saying that about this show in like half a decade.

Really seems to me that this season would've really benefited from ditching the Red Death storyline & spending the majority of the season building up the Cobalt Blue storyline. About half of the way through the season, they could've brought in the other villains and created some interesting team ups on both sides (villains and heroes) before the old villains were finally defeated. Really disappointing to see mostly lightening throws and Darth Sidious force lightening instead of speed fights. As it is, I agree that the show should've ended with 9x10.
THEY SPENT FOUR EPISODES ON FILLER. There was no saving this season from the writers' stupidity.
Literally my thoughts exactly. Bringing all the old speedster villains back was a rly cool concept they should’ve expanded on and had Eddie be the connecting tissue between all the villians. If they rly wanted to they could’ve hyped up colbalt blue by hiding his identity before revealing its Eddie thawne

@@hawkeye312456Well he is alive and has superpowers. In addition the negative speed force is under his control. Barry is an avatar and has a happy life. The negative speed force is not very happy but it seems that Barry and Eddie have found a new way to connect both forces
I think rick cosnett is one of the better flash villian actors..yes better than tom...he has much much more range... He has a middle ground...the others dont its either calm or insane... He can play tide between them both
